Anyone willing to share their experiences on 30mg of Elvanse?
I've been on it for for 2/3 weeks now, and I'm noticing lots of positive little things (I don't have all consuming cravings for sugary and caffienated things anymore, I'm starting to exercise, I've started calorie counting, I'm sleeping a bit better and I've even done a bit of DIY in the house. That last one is a totally out-there for me ), but I've completely lost my sex drive.
Like, TOTALLY. Nothing. Zero. Zilch. Nada. Hee haw.
And I'm not even bothered about it
Anybody else been through that? Does it come back? Or am I just celibate now? |

Has anything changed or still no sex drive? I've been on increasing doses of methylphenidate with no effect, and it's likely I'll be switched to Elvanse later this month. |

If you have only been on it a few weeks i would give it a bit more time. It is a common side effect but in most cases subsides once your brain gets used to the drop in neurotransmitters. If it continues over the next month or so i would speak to your prescriber |

Exactly what thickthighs above says.
I (ess) am on 70mg and every dose adjustment I've had I've gone through an adjustment process where things get all topsy turvy regarding sex drive. It does generally settle down though! |

Hi, I’m on it for 4 month. Yes the first 3/4 weeks lots of different side effects, low libido, low mood( as in don’t get as much excitement from things, low appetite. That all will fade away when you adapt to your meds. And the excitement part - you just don’t get your dopamine from cheap sources as much. You need to find quality dopamine now. |
