Do you tell your neighbours when you leave home for any prolonged time like a weekend or a longer holiday to make sure they keep an eye on things?

Yeah I let one of my neighbours know. She takes my bins out if needed and keeps an eye out if we leave the car.

We've done the same for her in the past.

Yes, if it's less than a week my neighbour will look after my cats. If it's longer than a week my mum house sits and my neighbours check in on my mum.
