I actually suffered a cardiac arrest when I was younger, so I have literally d*ed ( sorry if that's too heavy for the forums.)
I didn't see any bright lights or the afterlife or anything like I've read others say. It was just like going to sleep ( I obviously wasn't aware it was happening when it happened.)
It's weird to think about now. |

Don’t know about near death but I have actually seen my life flash before my eyes after an accident.
I had just been hit by a car and as I was falling to the ground It was like someone had a book of my life and was flicking through the pages very fast, a slideshow played of all the important things in my life.
I thought it was a sign I was going to die.
Probably a trauma response.

Yeah…. That’s something many people report. Bright lights and life flashing within seconds. Like a fast forward all life events, all memories.
Glad you survived to tell the story…. Hopefully fully recovered too |

Thank God you're alive and keeping well now. There are so many case studies of peeps having appeared medically dead and who have been kind to share their story of having journeyed to the other side...!
It's quite fascinating...!

Thankyou. It was my fault it happened as I wasn't looking after my diabetes ( skipping medication to lose weight ), so don't feel too bad for me! I feel awful for my parents as it was a very stressful time for them.
It's always interesting when people have had mear death experiences and say they've seen an afterlife, or their life flashing before their eyes, though. I don't know whether to feel cheated or not! |

I've died twice in this incarnation, three if you count jumping timlines back to a living one. (aka, red balloon)
Where you go, what you experience is personal, in general there are similarities between some but its custom to everyone.
Some films get it right some are so wrong its funny. |

My mum had a very clear experience when she died during childbirth.
She said that she floated up to the ceiling of the hospital room and looked down on everything.
She watched them take her still born baby out of the room and heard the doctors frantically calling her name. At that time she was watching, but not aware that it was herself she was watching.
She felt calm, and after that experience, was not afraid of the idea of dying at all. She felt safe , warm and at peace in that moment.

I’m not disregarding what you’ve said but I’ve read a few times that the ‘life flashing’ before your eyes is similar to a kaleidoscope image. Although it does state it’s all of the important things in life. |

My own personal near death experience happened during the first wave of covid in 2020. When I was finally admitted to hospital I was ventilated within 48 hours within a couple of weeks my family was told that it was unlikely I'd survive. Over the next 6 weeks I faced a battle for survival that was off the scale. When I eventually came round after over 8 weeks of being on a ventilator the whole world had changed, for me anyway. Without going into too much detail my body went through so much but I survived and am here to tell the tale. So many weren't so lucky... |

Calling somebody stupid just shows your own ignorance.
Covid WAS FAKE. It has been proven. Just an experiment to control us all.
Explain to me how my partner failed a test in numerous occasions and despite us having intimate occasions I NEVER contracted it.
Explain to me how a small drivers room that had (at any one time) 15-25 drivers sitting in it and three of them failed their tests yet the rest of us were perfectly fine.
If you got run over by a bus during that time and had just taken a test your death was contributed to Covid.
You can walk around all day with your head up your arse and believe the mainstream media or you can actually read FACTUAL information. |

I didnt call you stupid - I dont know you so cant make that assumption. Merely expressed that I felt your comment was stupid, and very insensitive to the poster who was on a ventilator for several weeks.
But ok, I'll take your superior knowledge over the World Health Organisation. I suppose the covid 19 vaccine contains nanobots so Bill Gates can track when I go to Sainsbury's? |

If you're referring to patents such as
US20220225942
US20190365325
US20240268762
etc...
You think sainsburys need to measure your emotional states do you? to what, target you with chocolate ads when you're feeling depressed and your hormones are releasing cortisol...
No, can't see any kind of profit in that...

I wouldn't normally be triggered to respond, but you sir are an arse. I know nothing about you, I don't want to know anything about you, you've told me all that I need to know.
My brother died with covid, you believe it's fake if you want, but my life changed as a result, my mum and my dad had their lives changed as a result. I live with that grief every day. Don't tell me it was fake, you have no idea!

My grandad who was very healthy for his age, and rarely got ill passed away from COVID. It's an insult to the many people who were taken by it or who lost loved ones to say it's fake. Take your moronic conspiracy theories elsewhere instead of spreading misinformation. |

No apology needed from you. You haven't hijacked the thread at all.

"There is a series on Netflix called Surviving Death, it explores near death experiences along with life after death, the afterlife and reincarnation. Very intriguing and very interesting "
I want to say something about those dingbat covid comments!
But I'm enjoying this thread, I hope people continue to add their experiences.
I really enjoyed this series, it's still on Netflix.

My near death experience wasn’t as close as many, I didn’t actually die and get brought back.
I had sepsis and I knew I was dying. I didn’t know at the time but my family had been called to come and see me to say goodbye.
What I remember is an overwhelming wish for it all to be over because I was in so much pain and then suddenly everything being so peaceful. No pain, no worries, I remember being absolutely certain that my kids were going to be ok and that there really wasn’t anything to worry about. There were no bright lights, no visitations just peace as my brain was shutting down.
My next memory is 3 days later in icu and I was on the mend but yeah, that’s the closest thing to a near death experience I’ve had. |

You're welcome and no, you shouldn't be feeling cheated but feeling blessed that you survived ordeal and given another opportunity to enjoy living life...!
Cherish life and spend as much quality time with your loved ones. Honouring that second chance; with every day seen as an opportunity to build meaningful memories. |

Yeah I was gone for a unknown amount of time after collapsing and suffering a head injury.
No knowledge of what happened, no pain no nothing its just like someone switched a light off then back on again.
Just blackness, nothing. |

Never had that mine was more like I had an impossible task carrying a heavy load in a dark tunnel heading towards the light that I never seemed to reach

Don’t know, haven’t looked into it really. I’m sure lots of people have their own accounts and interpretations of what happened (depending on their approach to the topic) whether that’s spiritual, psychological, or neurological. |
