Height of men on fab, Genuinely curious x

On the back of another thread on here, I'm genuinely curious on what the average height of men on here is. I'm tall but don't consider myself to be that tall really, but having noticed im taller than most of the men on a recent thread I'm now wondering if I am considered very tall for a woman 🤔. Do you think im very tall? And would men have an issue with meeting women taller than them?
Im just curious as not attracted to men shorter than me.

I’m 6’3. I don’t tend to find many women taller than me so it isn’t something I ever have to worry about. I don’t think height should be the issue it seems to be for lots of men, but that’s just my opinion. |

If anything is to go by, I’d say the average height of men on Fab is 5’9” or so. Most of the men I’ve met for socials or at group socials are around this height. It’d be very rare that I meet a man this height for more than a social but it has happened on a rare occasion.

Thats so true! I do feel that some men lie about their measurements on here. When I look at pics and see how long they've said their old chap is I do think some men are telling porkies 🤣.

I have fallen foul of the fab scale of measurement.
Seems a bit pointless lying about something so impossible to fake.
But here we are.
For any people who find height a factor of attraction then it's a deal breaker and for everyone else they won't care what you measure in your bare feet.
Either way the lying is the deal breaker for me. |

I'm not tall — I am 5' 7". It doesn't bother me if she is tall; the tallest I've met was 5' 10". I don't actively seek tall women. If it happens, it happens.
Evidently it's a common preference for most of the profiles I come across where the woman has unequivocally stated a (minimum) height preference, which often far exceeds my height. I have no issues with that and respect their preferences...and bypass them. |

I'm 6ft tall myself. I do feel for the shorter guys, they automatically get rejected by taller women through no fault of their own.
The ones I find odd is when you see a couple where the guy's like 6"2 and the woman 4"10 🤷🏽♂️ doggy style must be like pushing one of those pencil erasers onto his willy 😂 |

Only reason I go for taller men than men is because I dated a guy shorter than me and felt like his babysitter or guardian 🤣. I had to finish with him in the end. But, that being said I think all women like men to be taller than them at best. I dont agree that shorter women should only go for men over 6ft for instance. For me as long as the man is taller than me im happy, there is no minimum requirement just like to feel small and feminine under a man.

Just an observation I’ve made is that there seems to be a suspicious gap of guys in that almost 6ft range. The 5’10/5’11 bit. Lots of profiles 5’9 and under, lots of profiles 6ft and 6ft+
I suspect if a guy thinks he can get away with it, he puts 6ft on his profile |

I’ve met people at a group social whose profile said 6ft and in reality they were only around my height (5’4 plus 3” heels).
The thing is for me height has never been something that I measure attraction on, but I do understand it’s important to others. I just don’t see the point in lying when it’s obvious. |

In my line of work, I once had someone tell me that the person in front of me was 6 foot 4, and I looked them straight in the eye. And I thought, if you were 6 foot 4, I am a monkey's uncle.

I'm 5'8" and know I'm below average. But I'm also aware women, even those shorter than me will have preference for men over 6'. It doesn't affect me in general, but I do wonder what it would be like if I was a little taller and the presence that comes with it, especially in a club or social setting. |

I'm well above that magical 6' mark, and I don't think, or at least not aware of, any advantages that it has given me in a club or social setting.
At most, it's just the odd comment here and there about how tall I am.
But I could also just not notice any advantages because this is just natural for me.
Or because I'm dumb. That could play a large factor in that. |

I’m 5’4”. My (hubby) is only 5’3”
I’m one of the rare females that don’t mind men that are shorter than me. I have no issue with it. It’s how I’m treated as a hooman bean that matters.
Besides, if I’m in bare feet and he’s wearing trainers he’s taller than me. That and the fact that there really aren’t too many men shorter than me 🤣🤣

Some men might prefer to meet shorter women much like women might prefer to meet taller men.
I do understand why men might lie about their height (not saying it's right) - it's another filter and an inch or two between friends is fine. Women can go daft over a tall man regardless of him possessing any other qualities of any kind so there's definitely some preference for height that might exclude.

A friend of mine used to hate dating apps where you could filter on height, because apparently it's not uncommon for ladies to say they're looking for/filtering on 6ft plus, and at 5'8 he's not in the tall category, he said his mates would show him all the ladies he was missing out on 🤣
Tall enough that I could wear heels and not feel like a gangly giraffe/Bambi is nice, but not so tall I'm talking to their chest please. |

You are 5'11, OP. Average height for a woman is around 5'3-5'4, approximately. So you are exceptionally tall for a woman. Average height for a man is approximately 5'8-5'9. You are above average height for a man.
I don't care about height. It's not an issue for me. It seems to be a woman's issue. We can't change our height. I have no issue meeting a woman taller than me. I'm 5'11.

There's a woman that appears on my local feed that's 4' 9" and says she prefers men over 6', but not a deal breaker. She'd look like a little a very small child next to a 6' plus fella. |

I don’t need myself a tall man to make me feel dainty, feminine or any other tosh that seems to gets spouted by other tall women who are self conscious about their height on here. I just can’t comprehend that mindset if I’m honest.

I was once rejected by the female half of a couple for being to short whilst we were on a couples social.
It was actually quite funny as it shows couples also have difficulties reading profiles.
