Who created God?
Jump to: Newest in thread
My daughter asked me this when she was about 5. She attended a Catholic school and I told her to ask her teacher 😅 Parents night came around and her teacher said “ oh btw thank you for getting xxx to ask me who made God”I laughed and said what did you tell her. She replied “I told her go ask Father” 😂 |

Bad attempt at early science when we were mapping the stars and couldn't think past anything being devine intervention.
Kinda silly, primative and self centred to think we are the result of a god/s.. |

Some pissed up monks needing to give the public morals and social standards to live by. Religion is a societal requirement for some to keep them on the right path, sadly Religion is also the cause of most world wars too. It does more harm than good. Religions should be abolished.

Religions preach love , acceptance and kindness of all.
It's not religion that does harm. It's those that mis interpret it's teachings and use it as a means to dominate.

"sadly religion is also the cause of most world wars too"
This is a popular but untrue myth.
Historians and conflict researchers widely agree that religion is not the primary cause of most wars. Comprehensive historical analyses indicate that territorial control, resource acquisition, and political power are the leading drivers of human conflict, while strictly religious motivations account for a very small minority.

War perhaps not but the amount of injustice and seeing the other tribe as lesser persons in the name of religion is still high.
Let people live how they want to live as long as no harm is caused to another individual |

Believe it or not, it was Kevin MacLeod.
He impregnated Yahweh's mum before the creation of the known universe.
And so began the everlasting ritual, whereby the female partner in the housebuilding project mysteriously becomes pregnant half-way through Grand Designs.
Kevin is potent. Kevin is forever. |

Although true religion is a driving factor of most land acquisitions, hence religion still being a leading contributing factor of war over all. Most disputes arise due to "differences in beliefs" and "reclaiming land seen to be of religious importance"
Religion plays a huge part, theres no denying it.

Religion has always been intertwined with the politics and the regent/king/etc. of territories and the conquering of lands.
Where there is difference there is division.
Where there is power and hierarcy there is corruption and abuse. |

While religious movements have historically driven territorial expansion and colonization, most modern land acquisitions are driven by economic, agricultural, and geopolitical factors rather than religion. Today, governments and corporations primarily acquire land for natural resource extraction, foreign direct investment, and commercial development. |

In a galaxy far far away |
It's difficult to understand if God had a beginning.
Theoretically time goes forward infinitely and therefore could go backwards infinitely, so God had no beginning, he's always been there.
But as humans we had a start in life, everything we see around us had a start. Our brains can't comprehend the theory that God had no creator, that hes existed infinitely. |

That comes down to faith.
People believe in evolution, or that it all happened by accident, that's also faith. |

I dont believe that science is a faith, it's proven facts presented as evidence. There is no proof of any god. I sway between agnostic and atheist a bit, some days I undoubtedly am certain there is no god and then other days I find myself thinking there must be something that started existence. Just not convinced its some holy being that cant be seen or found ever.
I need physical evidence to believe in most things.

Tell that to the people living under religious rule.
Not one religion. All.
Not just the obvious middle eastern influences.
Look at americans under the thumb of religious billionaires controlling political interests. |

I'm the same with evidence, it's why I don't believe in aliens or ghosts.
But the problem I have with the theory of evolution is animal instinct.
Even Charles Darwin admitted it's a flaw in his argument. For example, how to birds know to migrate thousands of miles when they've never done it before? It kind of points to a design, rather than an accident.

I believe in ghosts as I have seen them and can categorically say they are real. Aliens not so sure but it would explain alot if they were real, even go so far as betting they had a hand in our "creation" or "evolution" if you like.
There are some amazing theories out there.

This woman travelling the desert with her husband and a donkey got herself knocked up by someone not her husband and had to come up with some wild assed excuse about how it happened. The rest is history, actually mythology…. |
