It is all a question of being organised early. We have ceiling fan in every room & a couple of portable AC units & it is quite comfortable. In a couple of months people will be complaining about the wet or the cold, Brits are never satisfied.

People around the world live in hotter conditions than this annually, why not just embrace the good weather & get on with living
