I have managed to keep relatively cool over the last few days
All blinds closed at home
Letting fresh air in when the temps drop
Dog walks at dawn and just before sundown
Restricted routine - pretty much home, work & grocery shopping
Air Con on in car
Good use of fans, at home and at work
Cool showers
Naked in the house
Loose, light clothing outside
Iced coffees
I don't really do well with the sun in general, so am well versed in these things 
I am not a hottie  |

Ha ha love that saying. Yep menopause and 30 plus temps are no fun at all. It's gonna be 9 /10 degrees cooler here tom, which I'm glad of as I'm starting 3 nights.

I was off the scale hot all afternoon, mostly as a result of deciding that it’d be a good idea to do some more work in the garden at midday. By 1 I’d run out of sweat I think, although the flower beds had had a good watering 🥴🥴
Spent the rest of the afternoon being incredibly hot on the sun lounger. |

I saw this recommended as a rehydration drink: good sprinkling of sea salt and a lot of lime juice in a pint of ice cold water.
Basically a big ass tequila shot without the tequila. And it does the trick if you have that "I've sweated too much and feel depleted and heatstrokey" vibe. |
