I can't tell if someone is flirting with me so I have no idea. So I would assume it ended badly because I didn't know they were flirting with me. Eye contact is just eye contact. It means nothing to me. Being kind is being kind. Asking me if I'm single is just being inquisitive. |

Threads like this just make me wonder if I'm an unacknowledged (even by myself) expert in this. I'm never in any doubt. Flirting is fun. Doesn't lead to sex most of the time but it's the what-if element that's where the fun is.
Men's problem is being focussed on the goal and the endpoint of guaranteed sex. That very rarely happens, nice when it does but if it's the only goal you're doomed to a lot of disappointment. Take flirting as a bit of self-affirming fun and you'll be way more on the same page as women and occasionally the spark will catch flame and it'll happen. |

They are Effy, a place you never want to return to but the wakes can be a lively place catching up with people who you miss and like. We get one life and they are a reminder to make sure you get out there. We are friends after splitting up years ago, she said I thought you might have wanted to stay over at ours (she married my mate) so I enjoyed saying I thought you’d never ask 😘. People who you have known for a very long time are just the best. |

Rarely happens in the real world.
For all those men on dating sites, and even on here who love a larger woman, it never seems to materialise for me in the real world.
Good enough to fuck but nothing else. Or maybe its the stigma on men being seen as "chubby chasers" to their mates so they follow the mold.
Whatever it is, I've accepted it so don't even expect to be flirted with now. I gave up on dating years ago, so no big loss there anyway |
