What's the most random thing you've brought home after a night out?
Was chatting to someone about this earlier and I've came to the conclusion that I must turn into a magpie after a few drinks.
I've woke up in the morning a found various items that I have no idea where they came from, including a full bottle of vinegar in my bag 😂
Please tell me I'm not the only one....

I went through a stage of doing it.
A row of bullets (plastic ones).
A sign post.
Glow sticks.
A medallion.
Three different hats in one night and I wore them one on top of the other.
After a new years eve party in town I was dressed as john lennon from sgt pepper and I walked 3 hours home in 2 degree cold holding a bottle of wine in one and and what I thought was another bottle in the other. It was balsamic vinegar
More things than I can remember, great memories

"A cats eye the in the middle of the road type not an actual cats eye 🤣
Also, how the hell did you dig that out 🙈"
It was a metal bar or something like that that myself and a friend must have found on our home from a d*unken night because we definitely didn't leave the house with it 🤣🤣🤣 |

I had one too, almost exactly 20 years to the day! There was a picture of me and my girlfriend at the time wearing them, I cherished that for years afterwards |

My sister came home with a Barratts flag, from a flag pole on a new building site, back in the early eighties. I think the police the next day arrived, and wanted it back. She denied all knowledge.....Don't think the police believed her tbh. |

Berwick upon Tweed |
- A Jehovah’s Witness.
- A child’s trike
- A police dog
One I tied outside the police station and legged it, the other took me two years to get rid of. I always thought I tied up the wrong one.
Oh, and an angry father deservedly punched me on the nose. |

I went to uni in Scotland, there have been many things. :D The most confusing was a golf flag thingy until I remembered insisting on seeing dolphins at stupid o clock and wanting a pole. 🤷🏽♀️ |

Plenty of pub glasses, and twice even a pitcher
£60 worth of food from a kebab shop cos it all looked great.

We went through a bit of a phase of bringing things back from the pub when I was first year at university. It escalated from glasses to furniture and I definitely remember having a bar stool for quite a long time. We also had a cast iron park bench we “borrowed” outside our flat which was lovely in the summer. |

I may be outing myself to those who know this story but I once saw a chair outside a local restaurant and carried it all the way to my friends up Sheffield's steepest street. Went home the next day to sleep off my hangover and got woken by said friend texting to say the chair is in the garden. I kept that chair as my main desk chair for the rest of the year |

Never actually took them home but on a walk home from the club to my mates house, we would move for sale signs randomly around housing estates, put the little orange flashing lights from roadworks under people's windows, stupid stuff like that.
But actually taking home, I woke up one morning on my bed in my casual shirt and a sequin mini.
Apparently I'd swapped my trousers with a random girl in town on the way home...
I think I got the better deal, kept that skirt for years lol...hate to think how the poor girl felt in oversized trousers the next morning! |

An ironing board in bed with me while staying at a hotel for a friend's wedding......wasn't my ironing board.
A road closed sign in my kitchen, thought nothing of it until I saw lots of people going mad on FB because 'someone' had caused chaos by removing it and all cars were having to turn around |

When I was a student long ago, the a-board advertising the local osteopath.
Nearly put my back out lugging up four flights of stairs up to my hall bedroom.
They nearly got some business out of me. 🤷♂️

After my brother in laws stag do/pub crawl around Hereford, many years ago, we ended the night with..
An armchair from one of the pubs, a hatstand,a glass vase (intact) with flowers, but the water had been replaced by beer,2 pairs of shoes that fitted none of us (one was a woman's pair),plus a Polish student who everyone assumed was 'with someone else - but wasn't) |

"A dart board
A dinosaur head
A dinosaur costume
A 10ft x 5ft piece of plywood.
I loves a night out I do 🤣
Sounds like a Bullseye prize list"
🤣, I still wear the dinosaur head. Think I threw the costume out. The plywood is my bar roof, and the dartboard is in the bar. They were things I needed 🤣😁 |

I went through a phase of taking the letter B from shop signs, hotel signs etc.
No idea why I don’t even have a B in my name 🤷🏻♂️
The other weird one was the big yellow cover type bag they put over parking meters, ended up with loads of them 🤷🏻♂️ |

A fully functioning portable warning lamp (the kind you would see around skips etc. to make them easier to see I guess) happily flashing its heart out in middle of living room when I walked in...strange thing is I only live about 3-4 min walk from the pub and definitely no skips or flashing lights on my way home the previous night. |

Me and a friend woke up with a large stone statue of a person out of a garden. We could remember there were loads of ornaments in this garden but not the exact location, so we tracked it down, photo shopped this stone person on holiday in various locations around the world (popping on hawaiian shirts, gondolier outfit, that kind of thing) then put it back after 3 weeks with the photos |

up a bit, right a bit...that's the spot |
A whole roll of the 'Police do not cross' tape that's used to tape off crime scenes. Got up very hungover to very disgruntled housemates and all the downstairs doors tied together with it...to this day I have absolutely no idea where it came from, best guess I'd either been at a crime scene or in a police car. |

Last December, Christmas night out. I emptied my bag in the morning to find a wedge of wood from the pub that was steadying the table.
I felt bad but remembered scooping it up n nicking it to keep the kitchen door open.
?
Round about Feb..... I was sitting in the pub when my friend pulled out a wedge made in the same way from the same wood.
I said.... Did you make that ?
He said ..... Yeah someone nicked the last one!
I said ...............................

Someone did that with my Mums Gnome, she had loads of them in her garden.
Someone nicked it and kept sending her pictures and postcards. She loved it he ended up back in the garden a month later wearing a holiday hat, sunglasses and a garland round it's neck. My Mum being the woman she was loved it |
