"I had an invite to meet yesterday with no social first or even seeing a clear photo. Do people do this? Surely it's a big risk? Or is it exciting? I turned the invite down. Did I miss out? "

Personally, Id have done the same and turned it down. I need attraction and some assurance that the person is real.
You could mitigate some of the risk if they are well verified and have been photo verified too, but that wouldnt remove the risk completely. Id still pass. |

Yes, it very much depends what the meeting is for. I have met for a walk in the park, a coffee, a beer, and other socials. I may only have seen a photo just before we met - but have needed a photo so that i don't approach the wrong person and cause all sorts of embarrassment. |

The amount of meet now messages have included recently. Not sure if it’s a new influx of people since the site has been in the news.
It boggles me that the seem to be shocked when I say no I don’t meet unless I know someone well |

I’m sure people do but it would be a hell no from me. I need to see the person I’m considering fucking and have at least one social with them first. I mean how else can I prove I’m not a serial killer?

I always ask for photos, if not a face pic, to obtain a good idea of who I'm meeting. Good body shots are fine. If no photos, then at least verifications to give an idea of who you're dealing with. But, no photos, no verifications AND they have been a member for over a year....no! |

Absolutely not. I have to see a face pic & then a quick video call to confirm they are the real deal & not Fugly Catfish if I'm even to consider shaving my coochie.

I always ask for a " now selfie " after iv chatted for a little while , if they wont then I will end the conversation

I've had a couple of guys, ask to meet with them having no photos to even share in private. Reason apparently they don't put pics on Internet.
I said i won't do blind dates, so declined. I always wonder how or if they manage any meets.. |
