In German it means "eager for knowledge/learning".

It perfectly defines my natural, at rest state. It is never "passive". It's always on. If I had absolutely nothing to do and just sat in a padded room with no electronics or anything, I'd be studying the padding, the locks, the lights, the smell, texture, ambiance.
It centres me, I suppose. |
