Smile today?
Come on guys, dig deep 😂
It made me smile earlier when someone commented on our previous status, thinking it read that I really need a poo. Obviously I meant POOL.
He was going to offer to bring some toilet roll round, bless him

Just going out in the park to watch the eclipse, seeing all the excited families and kids and the hubbub and the ones with their homemade colander and cereal box contraptions.
Also my wife had accidentally bought a six-pack of protective glasses so we gave one pair to a lady sat next to us and three more to a big family so their kids didn't have to take turns. |

Just what felt right. I mean what are two of us gonna do with four extra pairs? Had a lovely long chat with the lady on our bench and the family were cool and appreciative.
Where we are (Dickens Heath) it can seem a little impersonal sort of a place where people keep themselves to themselves and you don't always get a strong sense of community because basically everyone here's reasonably well off and you don't "need" neighbours, so it's a little different when people just come out and come together over some common thing. |

Someone has been making me smile a lot recently and I have needed it.
They have helped bring back something that was missing and it’s not just the weather that has me hot and bothered right now!!

Today we have arranged to meet on Tuesday for a social over dinner.
That has made me smile and I am really looking forward to meeting him in person..... 😊 |
