On the surface I probably come off as a hard faced bitch.
I struggle with accepting anyone would actually like me so I have rules in place for meeting any guy more than once to keep things simple, which I rarely do anyway. I do a great job of pushing people away. Sometimes it's slips. |

Yes, Fabs is lovely, when like minded people can properly connect, but I think peoples’ urges sometimes get the better of their better selves, and we can all lose sight of how we want to achieve fulfilment, in a respectful way, that’s actually more likely to help us make those lovely connections |

At 63 I've done my share of being sensitive and letting things get to me and having drama.
Not that I'm insensitive or don't care about other people's feelings, I do, but if it tries to rub off on me and drag me in, I'm bulletproof and impervious to it.
As the cliché has it, I'm here for a good time now, not a long time. |

Yes, definitely. In my personal life I wear my heart on my sleeve. I’m an overthinker and I can take things to heart, so that can sometimes spill over into my swinging life. I can find myself wondering whether my partner is enjoying someone else more than they enjoy me, even though I know that’s probably my overthinking talking.
That said, I don’t actually take swinging, hook-ups or casual connections seriously in terms of my relationship. To me, it isn’t real life, and I’m able to separate what happens in that environment from what we have outside of it. So it can make things a little more difficult in my head at times, but generally I’m comfortable with it and don’t get upset about the swinging itself.
