I don’t send out too many chat messages and hate the “cut & paste” approach. But as a consequence don’t have many chats on here. What is the best way? Cut & paste or personal?

Myself, I prefer personal, especially if it makes me smile/laugh x

I'm happy with just "hi" or a 1,000 word c&p message.

As a single guy it doesn't matter if you cut and paste or write something personal, it will more than likely sit in their in box unread for a few weeks till they bulk delete

In my experience you're just as likely to get a response to a generic one-liner as to a carefully-crafted introductory paragraph that references their profile multiple times.

personalise your messages every time and include some reference to the profile page of your intended. It shows that you have read the profile and gives you an opening gambit. Eg. Mention their tan or tattoo or relate their interests.

Don't copy and paste mate. Bit tacky.

Personally, I don't need an essay. Just a polite personalised intro will suffice (providing the profile has sufficient pics and text about you)
