You sound shocked. It's a logical question. Fisting is a popular choice on the interest list of many swingers and non swingers.

What aspects of equality do you agree with? "

Everything.

The whole statement is full of holes and flaws.

You're defining women's rights on the basis of what? "The equality of the sexes"

If the sexes are not equal, can not be equal and they are not supposed to be equal by design.

So the foundation of it all is built on sand and the whole building you construct on top of it will crush down.

You can write a sofisticated software that runs the computer from a pair of a numbers: (0;1). The moment you consider 0=1, your computer will burn.

Jobs should be given to the most qualified.

Women have the right to education but without indoctrinating them that their most important job as a mother of the next generation, as a wife as a feminnine being is inferior and is oppressive to her and without destroying the building block of the society to the point we have reached now with almost an infertile society that can't survive without relying on foreign nations to produce our next generation for us.

The moment those nations cut loose and our financial disparity becomes insignificant, this entire country will fall and cease to exist

The only reason women would not want to be a mother is through indoctrination against it. Every code in their DNA, every natural instinct in them drives them to want it. Until you install a virus in their mindset that tells them otherwise. And now ee're doomed. We've just collectively too busy geting d*unk (metaphorically) and having fun and singing while the titanic is sinking. Keep going forward no matter what

Should women have the same right to education as men? The same right to vote? Be considered totally equal for an office based job?

Jobs should be given to the most qualified.

Women have the right to education but without indoctrinating them that their most important job as a mother of the next generation, as a wife as a feminnine being is inferior and is oppressive to her and without destroying the building block of the society to the point we have reached now with almost an infertile society that can't survive without relying on foreign nations to produce our next generation for us.

The moment those nations cut loose and our financial disparity becomes insignificant, this entire country will fall and cease to exist

So their most important job is as a mother and feminine being?

What if they don’t want to be a mother and/or feminine?

What if men don't want to build houses anymore, or trains, or planes, or roads, or be sewage men or bin men, or die for the country when an invasion is on the way, or build bridges, or they decide to not do plumbing, policing fire fighting, or buil"

Are those jobs exclusive to men, then?

What is feminism?

My question remains unanswered…

Ask 100 people and get 100 different answers.

I asked it of one person though

One simplified googled definition amongst many:

"the advocacy of women's rights on the basis of the equality of the sexes."

That’s a good thing, right? I’m sure we can al agree on that much.

I disagree with it wholesale

That’s a blunt statement - to disagree with equality of the sexes, wholesale.

Some might say it was backwards.

Sometimes backward is not such a bad idea if you're falling down a cliff

What aspects of equality do you agree with?

Everything.

Over 90% men.

Let's talk equality. What men pay as taxes go to men and what women pay in taxes go to women. Try that equality.

Try recruiting according to the same standards of qualifications not on the basis of sexes share politics impose on sectors.

So since you agree that they’re not exclusive to men, you’re accepting that women can do them.

And since you accept that women *can* do them, why shouldn’t women do them?

What hardcore anti-feminist men need to accept is that the average everyday woman is infinitely more powerful than them.

They’re more powerful than you because with one flash of cleavage, a wink and a smile, you’d be throwing money at them, and pandering to their every whim, and still believing you’re in charge

Rather than being comprehensive on for example. Careers, lifestyles etc..

I was thinking of the more fundamental safeguards..

Physically, women arnt as strong as men. And therefore more likely to be physically harmed ..

E.g

being attacked sexually, verbally and domestically assaulted, stalked

Getting their drinks spiked, murdered..

And in sports, risk of being out performed and pushed aside by transgender women.

That's what I was pondering.

As for job roles yes. Women are generally less suited for physically demanding roles except for some exceptions..

The best person for the job should apply...

Personally I have seen some women take on car mechanic job roles and not being adept in that role, but there's one woman who's bloody good at the job.

I agree. I've seen women who are better than some men in physically demanding jobs. However they're the exception. But it takes a toll on them metally and physically in the long run. Being a financial sclave to the corporate is the greatest achievement sold to women by feminism

You need to look at the political manipulation of women, historically (and currently). Getting women into the workplace while the men went to war. Promoting the home and family and woman's place in home, so men back from war have jobs to go into.

The current benefits structure to get women into work (I'm thinking single mothers) or have their benefits stopped...

Don't just blame feminism. The concept of equality in the working place (same wage for same job), in education, voting, etc etc.

Of course the sexes aren't equal but should be treated equally (with caveats for physicality, pregnancy and breastfeeding).

Just another excuse to take money out of men's pockets and give it to women without a thank you. In the contrary, men get shouted on their faces: "We don't need a man" "I am a strong independent woman". The system has killed relationships by giving women the illusion and feel that they don't need men to survive.

The feminists are on a destructive mission

They had that right long before I was born. And it's not like women took to the streets demanding that right. Some corpporate men decided to embark on this feminist ideology, to break the family union, exploit the 50% of the population they had no access to. And men's protection to their women was a barrier they need to break in order to get to the prize.

"The concept of equality should always be followed by the institutions - equal access to education, healthcare (we're only now getting menopause support as it's not a male thing ), work.

You still haven’t answered my question about voting rights.

Please confirm, women should have the same voting rights as men, correct?

It’s ok for anyone, male or female, or be strong and independent. Nobody *needs* to settle down, procreate and live to traditional ‘norms’"

You only say that because you live in a privileged country that have the luxury to print money in order to pay it's dept.

The moment that privilege dade away, the whole house built on sand will come down crashing.

I find it really interesting that it is mainly men arguing about the rights of women on this thread, trying to out smart each other for the win.

The OP was pretty clear on the male influence in the examples provided that created the "shit deal"

Now I’m getting a bit bored of this so I’m gonna cut to the chase.

If you can’t bring yourself to accept that equality between sexes is right, if you can’t bring yourself to admit that paedophila is wrong, if you can’t accept that people have free will and don’t need an ancient text (written by men, remember) to dictate what is right or wrong, then at best you have nothing worthwhile to bring to modern society. At worst, you’re an actual danger to the fabric of society with your archaic and dangerous opinions.

I can respect religion in the sense that it’s everyone’s right to believe whatever they want to believe - but what I can’t respect is someone who thinks their religion is more important that basic rights and the protection of individuals, particularly children and women.

"

What is feminism?

My question remains unanswered…

Ask 100 people and get 100 different answers.

I asked it of one person though

One simplified googled definition amongst many:

"the advocacy of women's rights on the basis of the equality of the sexes."

That’s a good thing, right? I’m sure we can al agree on that much.

I disagree with it wholesale"

Clearly you feel that The West had lost its way. Let's look at other cultures. Within your own demographic/culture, what proportion of people would you say agree with your vision of the rights, roles and responsibilities of women?

Because I can understand a theoretical ‘god’ creating an illness which affects the older generation or those who punish their body with overwork, alcohol, cigarettes etc.

I can’t understand a theoretical ‘god’ creating an illness which kills children.

Because I read, in it's original language. No man can write a book like it, and no man can process thought the wording in it, the structure of it, the mathematical coding in it, the impredictable geometrical and arythmetic simaitry incoded in it. It's a masterpiece of literary art, yet it's content is not about art. A long message where your creator speak directly into your heart, while blowing your mind with proofs and prophecies about the genuinity of his message and the seriousness of it. Yet, the book was delivered by an illiterate man from a society that never wrote a book before. This book stood the test of time, corruption and even total collapse of civilization.

Try read it for yourself. It's not something I can describe. You have to experience it yourself.

I’m not charging it with emotion, I’m seeking knowledge - Why did god create cancer in children? What purpose does it serve?

Why are you only concerned with cancer in children? Should the question be why did god create cancer?

Because I can understand a theoretical ‘god’ creating an illness which affects the older generation or those who punish their body with overwork, alcohol, cigarettes etc.

I can’t understand a theoretical ‘god’ creating an illness which kills children.

You can't understand god, but more importantly you can't understand faith.

If you do not have faith, why would you expect to understand anything you ask?

I suspect I understand faith better than some religious folk.

If someone has faith strong enough, then the reality of their god’s existence actually ceases to matter - for example.

If you had faith, you would trust in things that do not make total sense

And I would also question why my loving god chose to kill innocent children.

Which brings your faith into doubt"

You’d think so.

Funny thing faith, if you have it there is no shaking the foundations and that is where the trouble begins.

What's that a female Goddess? Lol

Can I ask why you believe the Quran to be the verbatim word of God? What proof do you have? How do you know the revelations were genuine?

Those are good points but they are not proof. I am not for one moment saying the Quran is not a masterful piece of literature but there remains no proof it was the word of God. Only the word of a man who said it was the word of God. And the state if Mohammed’s abilities can equally be part of the creationist story but unless you were there, you have no way of knowing if they were true or part of the “legend building”.

At the risk of being accused of a pile on (I am genuinely interested in your line of thinking and note to those considering policing - I am being polite not attacking)…

God gives us free will so does not control the existence of someone like Hitler or the Nazis. So that is surely totally different to the question being asked as to why would God punish innocent children by allowing them to be terminally ill?

And the Quran comfirm that God has revealed the Torah to Moses, the Zabur to David and the Gospel to Jesus.

It makes sense you find common grounds in those revelations. Only difference those previous revelations have corrupted by men.

I'm aware ish of the story about the books etc, it makes no sense whatsoever to set man against man at such a time ..

Simply tribalism where one lot claim authority over the other based upon their book which is the better one to live by..

It's only been about power by those seeking to manipulate and control..

And science as we have learnt and are learning has shown it thus, which unsurprisingly those who seek to maintain the status quo with the power and influence in some countries their book brings..

There are manuscripts that were discovered dating back to the time of the Proohet himself. Not a single word have been changed. The same Quran that was passed down generation to generation for 1400 years in geographicaly distant locations in the world, China, Indonesia, Subsaharan Africa, The Philippines, Morocco.... That on itself is a miracle. Compare that with the Old testament or the new testament with 1000's different versions

The same Quran that was passed down generation to generation for 1400 years in geographicaly distant locations in the world, China, Indonesia, Subsaharan Africa, The Philippines, Morocco.... That on itself is a miracle. Compare that with the Old testament or the new testament with 1000's different versions

But all that says is at the time of Mohammed someone made copies of the manuscripts and then got them distributed around the known world. Nothing more!

In other words they may well be “the word(s) of Mohammed” but still no proof they are “the word of God”"

All books are written by humans. Or AI.

Same was done with the 90+ books of the bible. Despite the central authority of Rome, there isn't 2 manusicripts that are identical in the content

Try read it for yourself. It's not something I can describe. You have to experience it yourself.

You haven’t debunked anything.

We can date the age of the universe by measuring light. We can date the age of the earth and solar system by looking at the materials contained within it. I wondered whether the Koran mentioned it, that is all.

That's not true. The English etymology is via Germanic roots.

The word predates the Koran, through Turkish/Armenian and Hebrew (Bible) usage, as well as Arabic.

What the evidence hasn't differed from (despite the fact that scientists will when presented with new scientific information reassess their original findings) is that there it's commonly accepted that no deity made man/women and nature etc..

I like this!

Your contrast between scientific and religious views highlights the diversity and complexity of human thought and how people seek to understand the world around them.

Living your life in a way that aligns with your understanding of the world and promotes personal wellbeing is to be applauded. However, if your beliefs compel you to impose them on others who perceive the world differently, it raises questions about the validity of your beliefs.

That on itself is a miracle. Compare that with the Old testament or the new testament with 1000's different versions

How did the age of such manuscripts get verified..?

I would like an answer please A&E..?

Is it simply because the book said so that such claims are made, did the people in such far away places know they weren't the only ones at that time with this manuscript?

Check the Birmingham manuscript. It was dated by the highest authorities in this field in the the Highest universities of the UK. By non Muslim researchers

Science..

The same science that tells us about evolution..

Science is not a person and it changes it's conclusions with new evidence. A lot of evolution scientists say that Darwenian evolution is a work of fiction

There is a list of 1000's of scientists from all relevent fields gathered by the Discovery Institute sin 1990's and they signed dissent petitions against the Darwinian indoctrination as if it's a scientific fact when it's a mere work of fiction.

"We are skeptical of claims for the ability of random mutation and natural selection to account for the complexity of life. Careful examination of the evidence for Darwinian theory should be encouraged."

There isn't a single species in the entire human history that have been observed to evolve into another species in nature. Zero. "

And even if you observe one case of mutation, that doesn't prove that the other millions of species all came from one original single cell millions years ago.

It makes sense you find common grounds in those revelations. Only difference those previous revelations have corrupted by men.

What is the proof of logic behind the Koran not being corrupted, while the other books were?

No, I didn’t expect you to answer. You generally don’t. (Like whether women should have the right to vote, or whether adults should be able to sleep with children).

We have to have regular flu vaccines because of antigenic drift. You can Google that and see what it is. Then think hard about what it means.

But all that says is at the time of Mohammed someone made copies of the manuscripts and then got them distributed around the known world. Nothing more!

Same was done with the 90+ books of the bible. Despite the central authority of Rome, there isn't 2 manusicripts that are identical in the content"

And…? You have just proven my point. You cannot prove any of the “books” are the word or or from God only that some men (and it is exclusively men) wrote sone words and claimed them to be the word of God via revelations etc.

10000 years of recorded history. Not a single mutation from one species to another. In other words they may well be “the word(s) of Mohammed” but still no proof they are “the word of God”

Even western Secular and Christian Scholars admit that the Quran is not Mohamed's words."

Hmmmm

" This is how ancient Greeks used to believe anything the Oracle tells them because "She is an oracle, so it must be true""

There is something ironic in that statement I am trying to put my finger on? Perhaps we can prove evolution after all as clearly the Oracle must have evolved into the prophet Mohammed?

I am a man with a brain. That's my expertise.

Your devoted faith in Darwin is not evidence for his theory. And if you have any scientific basic background you'd know that the Burden of proof is on the claiment.

Science doesn't work that way. i.e. You make a claim, then ask people to disprove your claim.

I believe that pre-marital and extra marital sex are against the teachings of the Koran. Might be wing though, like most religious texts, I think they’re all a bit pick n choose.

To find unrighteous women.

4:34

"Men are qawwamun in relation to women, according to what God has favored some over others and according to what they spend from their wealth. Righteous women are qanitat, guarding the unseen according to what God has guarded. Those [women] whose nushuz you fear, admonish them, and abandon them in bed, and strike them. If they obey you, do not pursue a strategy against them. Indeed, God is Exalted, Great."

"Al-rijal qawwamun ‘ala al-nisa’ bi ma faddala Allahu ba‘duhum ‘ala ba‘din wa bi ma anfaqu min amwalihim. Fa al-salihat qanitat, hafizat li’l-ghayb bi ma hafiza Allah. You can get temporary marriage contracts, actually. And concubines are a different class, too. It's not so simple.
