"Shanner
Dillion/dilyun not sure what that is explain"
A shanner is something that is shite or minging - e.g. "the new Scotland strip's a shanner"
A dillion or dilyun is something cracking or good, the opposite of a shanner - "the new Scotland strip's a pure dillion!" |

"Gie us a gummie…… a blowjob please!
Ya bampot…..idiot
Ma heid is durlin…… a sore head.
Fud…. vagina
Glaikit….. stupid
Stauner….hard on.
"
I like 'gummie'. Had me laughing like 'blowie' from Inbetweeners.
When I worked in Grangemouth 20 years ago they called a blow job a 'gam'. |

Fannybaws - never did get this other than a highly derogatory term
Windae licker - very crude and this day and age downright offensive relating to the special school bus as it was known way back then.
Eejit - still very descriptive!
Dobber - normally used with hawl ya dobber |

I use fannybaws as a way of greeting my mates but I have never thought of it as being derogatory or rude. |

My pal used to say “couldny ride the side of a shoogly dyke” meaning they couldn’t ride a horse properly or effectively enough
I like the word ‘dreich’ means wet dark day. |

We all called it a pinger or a stauner, or a brickie, at school in the 90s lol |

Hochmagandy or houghmagandie.
Kinda apt for this site.
Having sex for fun, rather than procreation, and typically with someone that may not be your spouse.
Anyone free for a wee social and a bit of hochmagandy?

The first time I heard that word was from James Cosmo in an episode of The Sweeney. It's a great saying. |

"Shoogle"
I once had to “translate” this on another online forum where I was sharing a recipe it was a key part of (to me) harder to do than it sounds!
I’m a Scot with an English accent weirdly but still use lots of Scot’s words and phrases I love varied language used to enjoy annoying a certain English boss by using the word “outwith” in certain reports |
