We've now run 2 successful events and we're here with another!
A perfect opportunity to meet fellow fabbers in a relaxed atmosphere with no pressure to do anything other than make new connections and friends!
Details are as follows:
- Venue will be Afterdark club as a private event
- Social will run from 5.30pm - 8.30pm with the option to stay on to enjoy an evening at the club
- Event will be £10 per person regardless of your gender, all welcome
- If choosing to stay on after, the club will offer everyone £10 off their entry fee
- Ratios of genders will be monitored to allow a good mix of people attending
- Your entry is to cover the hire and we will have a buffet too for you to enjoy
- Some lighthearted fun games for those who wish to participate. Prizes on offer!
- Places are not confirmed until payment is made, this can be done via PayPal or revolut
- This venue is bring your own bottle/drink
- There is no dress code but please treat this as a normal night out with fab friends
- Verifications will be required for all confirmed places however we recognise that a lot of people will use a social to gain verifications so we are happy to do a quick video call with those without
- We believe the club may be running a themed night that evening so check the website/club fab for details on this but this social won't be themed
- Parking available for those driving, and main transport links not too far away
- No last minute entry on the evening
Our last two events have sold out well before the date, we have a limit on capacity as we organise activities, food and soft drinks, if you don't want to miss out, book in asap! We will get back to everyone and look forward to seeing you all there!

What do folks do for accommodation. We had been planning to get a hotel in the city centre and make a weekend of it but just realised the club isn't in the centre. Does anyone have any recommendations for accommodation? Does anyone go back into Edinburgh after the club and if so how do you get there? |

Beyonce is playing in Edinburgh so getting a room in a hotel for under 300 is impossible! Probably need to get a train out of Edinburgh or drive to get a reasonably priced stay. |

Edinburgh park hotels are a good base for visiting the club. They'll probably be full up or extortionate though with Beyonce in town x |

Of course! We've got a lot of single women who come and single men too as well as couples. We keep an eye on the Ratios.

Just turn up. Chat, have no expectations and just be yourself. It's a good night out. Everyone is friendly enough. I never felt left out or awkward as a first timer when I went to previous socials there |

That's quite common for a lot of couples and appreciate the honesty. You're a verified couple so that wouldn't be a problem.

Typically just pay to stay on at AD toeards the end of the social. The ladies organising will likely walk the room and encourage folk to pop to the front desk and square it all away when the AD staff are ready to open, ensuring there isn't a mad stampede. |

Hello!
So yeah there will be a group chat for this being set up over the weekend on Telegram so we'll be reaching out for usernames of those who want to join. It will be kept open until after the social and then people can be added to the general social chat after that if they like
As for booking, as our lovely gentleman friend mentioned above, no booking required and we'll help make sure those wishing to stay on know who/where to pay making it as smooth a transition into the evening as possible xx |
