Vera Playa - Bahia - Anyone been?

We are going to Vera Playa for the first time ever at the start of May staying at Bahia. Has anyone stayed at Bahia? How are the grounds? Is the covered pool warm enough at the start of May for people who don't like cold water? We know it's not a swinger resort, but is there any sexy undertone? Any recommendations for coves north of Vera Playa where we could get naked with a smaller crowd? We have an AWD car.

I have stayed at the Bahia Fenicia complex in Vera Playa but it does not have a covered pool, however it is open all the year round. There is a pool at a different apartment complex which is covered and is always warm (I was once invited there by a couple) but I don't know if it's open all the year round. I can't remember the name of this urbanisation. You need to be more specific about where you will be staying! I have very recently moved to the area and I can try and get some information for you if you pm me |

Thank you, it is Bahía de Vera Apartamento and it definitely has a covered pool. I would post a pic but this forum doesn't have that feature. It's right beside Torremar Natura. It's a 13 minute walk from Fenicia towards the beach, bordering on the beach and the Maraú Beach Club. |

Thank you, we have already booked at a place right on the beach. Just trying to find how how "heated" the pool is as we've booked more expensive places in Spain before that advertised heated pools that were very cold! LOL |

So that's right on the edge of the naturist zone, but a good location as you've got the plaza a few minutes away, but that's a textiles area - if you want the naturist bars, they're about ten mins walk from there. The beach is a five minute walk away. The pool is definitely covered, as you say, and at the start of may it should nice and warm. Admittedly I've never stayed there but have a covered pool on my urb and that's definitely warm.

Looks like I got the location wrong. it's actually beside OH LA LA! Café Bar (2 minute walk) and ten minute walk to Chiringuito "EL PIRATA". Seems like a good location. |

Yep, that's the place definitely a great location, you're bound to enjoy it. There are a number of fabsters around usually so you should be able to arrange some fun  |

We have stayed in Bahia a while ago and wanted to buy an apartment there because we loved the indoor pool. We bought in Torremar in the end which is the next urbanisation but Bahia is lovely and the water will be nice and warm.
There are coves everywhere where you can strip off go past villaricos. Have a great time |

We know it's a nudist resort and beach and not a swingers place, but is there any sexual undertone at Bahia or at the nude bars on the strip or at the beach? We will be discreet but we want to have some adult fun as well! |

You'll need to keep any kind of activity to private areas, just keep that in mind. The police are quite strict as there are often families with children in the surrounding area. But yes, there are undertones on and off the beach, but discretion is key. |

There is a vibe of sorts but it's very low key.
Last time we were there around 3 years ago we got chatted up by a guy in the Pirate Bar on the beach.
After a pleasant afternoon with a few drinks we finished the day back at the apartment.
Whether that was just a lucky one off or something that happens regularly there we're not sure. But Mrs enjoyed it. |

I have had guys coming and chatting and trying to get more imtimate making suggestions, this is on the beach but as previous messages not to be encouraged other than very discreetly. The bars in hotel street are maybe best bet, Broadway is a good pick up place. |

I have contacted couples (and the occasional female) on here and arrange to meet for the first time on the beach. It's low risk for both parties but exciting! I've also been conscious of being watched, and then introduced myself. As others have commented, the whole beach environment is low key and very pleasant. |

Both Broadway and La Pirata are great bars to get chatting and meeting people, turn on Whos Near also.
Fun happens and is low key.
Playing on the beach is strongly frowned upon. |
