Highly recommend. Vera Playa club hotel decent food ok rooms fab pool area and naked all day with direct access to naturist beach. Swingers club templum not the best but 2 minutes outside hotel. Fly into Almeria or murcia airport one half hour the second about an hour hire a car from the airport less than 100, cheaper than transfers. Been going every Sept for years. Hotel is big and part of the senator group.

We did private transfers when we first went but hiring a car for the full 2 weeks this time. We also going self catering as Oh La La in on site - when we stayed at hotel half board last time in June we had to queue to get a table in the evening - we were not impressed waiting 20 to 30mins |

We are going for a week in July. We rent an apartment in the complex's. We intend to ride down this time touring a few places on the way down and back up. |

Casa Libéral (near Vera playa) opening times this week:
Thurs 30th May: Open from 1pm
Fri 31st May: Open from 1pm, greedy girls night from 6pm
Sat 1st June: Open from 1pm, Liverpool V Tottenham Champions League final 9pm, Anthony Joshua fight Live from 3am! |

I'm out in the Mojacar area for a few weeks in July and August. I'll be visiting Vera Beach quite a few times and would love to meet up with other people out there - even if it's just for a social. |

Has a great time last time we where in VP visited these guys place. Great people and a great set up. I’ll be back out at the end of the month. Can’t wait for a drink at the Pirate Bar and some naked sunshine. |

Honestly, what's the weather like there in Jan? Is there any bars open or do we have to travel to Garrucca? We had a fantastic time there in one of the complex's, January is such a loose end for us, it would be nice to go back again if anyway nice that time of year |

You would certainly get some nice days in January, maybe not everyday, but the evenings would be touch cool. Could not comment on bars, restaurants etc. |

A German (I think) dropped his cigarette packet on the sand in front of our tanning spot. Too far away for either me or Mrs Korky to offer assistance. However he bent over and Hey Presto, we were presented with a close up of a bike rack!! Still mentally scarred, to be fair  |

I answered this question before. You can get some very pleasant days in January but the nights will be cool, ie sweater weather.
It almost certainly will be quiet, and the swing club Templum closed. |

No to everything, it’s more or less exclusively a naturist resort with a swing club. It is not at all like Cap. |

We have been twice in October and found it still interesting so Im sure the end of August would be good. The pirate bar on the beach is a good meeting point for English speaking people |

The guardian civil (police) get called to the beach many times throughout the summer as a result of people playing or having sex. Any of us locals that live here would never risk doing anything on the beach as there are plenty of purists on the lookout who will report you. Shame really but it’s just not worth it and you get a heavy fine. |

Whilst Mrs Korky and I have had cheeky sex on VP beach we have always done it within an enclosed square of windbreaks at a quiet part of the beach. No way do we wish to upset families who also use the place. So it can be done but not as an exhibitionist thing. |
