As a university student having just finished my first year I decided to take on a part time job as a delivery driver...it was mostly food parcels I delivered for a well known company.
95% of the deliveries I done were to the same customers and it tended to be a weekly delivery they all ordered. The hours were long and the time constraints to get all the deliveries done in time was tight but it lined my pocket for drinking money for the weekend.
Over time, you get to know the customers, some, as time goes on start to chat and find out a bit more about you which is nice, others just take their box and close the door not wanting anything else to do with you. Each to their own, life is busy I guess.
I could tell by the weight and size of the boxes roughly how many people were in the house living ie...a house with 4 or more occupant tended to be a heavy box and the opposite for any single occupants.
There was one lady that puzzled me slightly...she lived in a stunning big house, only ever taking delivery of a very small box each week. I took from this that she had no kids...possibly no husband or partner either.
As time went on she spoke more each week, asking about my hobbies/interests etc. At times I felt almost rude as I was trying to carry on with my deliveries as she continued to strike up conversation. I came to the conclusion that she was maybe just a little lonely.

The whole week I kept playing it through in my mind...was I thinking into it too much? Did I actually find her attractive? Or was she genuinely showing more than a pleasant interest in me???
