Just wondering if people would like to hear about my first kiss with another woman?
Was about a year ago now. Not long after I split from my ex and went on a night out. Ended up sharing a taxi home with my mum and her best friend. All three of us shared a bottle of wine at home and got chatting.
What happened then really shocked me! |

We were all quite tipsy and mum was falling asleep so headed to bed. Her friend Jo said she will finish her drink and head home, but once mum had gone to bed we poured another glass of wine each and carried on chatting.
Jo is married and was 50 last year, I went to her 50th party! She is pretty and very petite, size 6 in dresses and about 5’ tall. Long blonde hair and always well dressed!
She started asking if I had been on any dates since I had been single. Then was telling me she wished she had explored more when she was my age!
I wondered why she used that phrase? Explored more! |

She then started telling me to enjoy myself while I’m young, and that once you are married the excitement fades and the sex dries up!
When we were chatting she was definitely keeping good eye contact and holding my gaze, I wasn’t sure if she was trying to flirt so decided to pay her a compliment and see how she took it.
So I said I bet her husband still fancies her as she still had a great body and I could tell she looked after herself.
Her face absolutely lit up, she gave me a beaming smile and said she does still look after herself, but she might as well not bother as he pays her no attention!
Then she started telling me about a guy at work that flirts with her and tells her she looks great, she said she likes the attention but wouldn’t dare go any further than flirting.

I was intrigued that she seemed a bit bored but seemed too scared to do anything to risk her family life.
I also knew before this that I was bi curious. I had never acted on it though as I had been with my boyfriend since I was young. So I was definitely glad this conversation was happening not long after we had broken up so I was single.
We kept chatting for a while and the more we chatted the more I was thinking I wonder how she will react if I tried to kiss her. From what she was saying I knew she wouldn’t instigate anything.
I then started to wonder why was I thinking like this. I had never thought of her in this way. I knew she was good looking for a much older woman but had never thought I fancied her! But here I was looking at her thinking what it would be like to kiss her! |

I flustered her a bit, she answered a question with a question back….
Why? Have you?
I told her no I hadn’t, but as I was single maybe now was the time to explore new things.
She told me she hadn’t kissed anybody else except her husband for about 30 years! She did then say she had kissed another girl when she was at school but not since.
I could see signs of some interest so tried to keep that chat going in that direction. I told her lots of my friends tried in that teen curious way but I hadn’t as I had been with my boyfriend through that time.
I couldn’t gauge her reaction as I talked about it some more. She mentioned again she hadn’t kissed anybody else for years and years and said the thought of breaking that by kissing another woman added another layer to how scared she would be.

While we had been chatting I had been discreetly trying to sit a bit closer to her and when I got the last of the wine to pour for us both I took that chance to sit back down closer to her.
I think all of a sudden Jo started to wonder what was going on. As I poured her wine she did say it would be exciting, and she would definitely like a bit more excitement in her life! But finished off by saying she would be too scared to do anything as with her luck she would get caught!
Just as I was thinking it looks like this isn’t going to happen Jo surprised me with what she said next:

We carried on chatting and I said that’s true, there was only me and her there!
There was quite an awkward silence and I then she was saying this has come out of the blue a bit and then as she seemed to be doubting herself as to what was actually happening.
So I thought I better make it totally clear for her. So I put my hand on hers to see how she reacted. She didn’t move it away. So I told her that when I’m talking about wanting to try kissing another woman I was meaning that I really wanted to kiss her.
“but I’m married…..and I’ve never done anything like this”
