This is going back to maybe 2002ish, apologies if it takes a while to get going, but that's how it happened, plus this is the first time of writing about past experiences.
Having moved from the greater Manchester area to Blackburn for work commitments, the ex gf and I decided Blackburn wasn't for us and decided to head back closer to home.
I started a new job, and shortly after a lad, we'll call Dave started. We got on, and it turns out he only lived round the corner from our new place. Him and his wife were also new to the area, so it made sense to meet up for drinks. The first time I laid eyes on his wife, let's call her Sarah, I was completely bowled over. Around 5ft 2, petite frame, blonde, tanned, although seemed a bit frosty to start with. Never in a million years would I think I'd have a chance with somebody like her
Anyway, over time, we all became great friends. Fast forward to the end of 2003. My then gf left for another bloke she worked with. Tough at the time, but, you know.
Over the coming months, a mate moved into my spare room, and dave and Sarah were still a big part of my life. Both seemed to take my side.
Sarah had always been very flirty, and looked amazing in everything she wore. Still, she just remained a friend. One that many a wank were had over.
I had my 30th in 2004. Party at mine. Usual crowd, usual shenanigans, but Sarah seemed just that little more flirtatious. As a typical bloke, I never really thought much about it. It was just how she was. Even another mates wife asked what was going on. Next day, a Sunday, we'd all arranged to meet at the local 'spoons for breakfast and a Sunday on the beer.
Not all made it, Sarah being one of those. The ones out, had a messy day, and I'd messaged Sarah, as I had done numerous times before, giving her stick for not being out. By the time she replied, I'd got home, thank god. Her reply was never something I'd imagined.
S: You don't get it do you? From the moment I met you, all I've wanted to do is fuck you over and over.
Me: shush you dick
S: I mean it. I've tried to work out a way to get you alone so many times
Now I've never been this forward before, but...
Me: you're full of it. If you're serious, I'm off all week. Come round to mine and let's see what you're on about ..
No reply, so put it down to a wind up and left it at that.. .
Monday morning, I was woken up at around 9.30 with a text from Sarah... " guess who has rang in sick, and is going to pay you a visit...." |
