I’ve recently been ghosted by 2 couples and 2 women. I don’t remember this happening before so was wondering if this is a trend hitting many, or just me been very unlucky.
1 of the couples I hadn’t even mailed before so was totally random. Be glad to hear your thoughts. |

You say ghosted, but then say that one of them you'd not even messaged. Maybe they did a pre-emptive block? We do that - sometimes we'll come across a status update or profile and something immediately puts us off so we'll block before either of us has messaged.
Also....there's a LOT of couples accounts and single female accounts that aren't what they seem. Maybe the guy had finished wanking, or it was getting a bit too close to arranging a meet....

For prior messaging in Fab
No reply = No thanks
Blocking is wise use of the site tools, to stop unwanted contact that would needlessly waste time
Users are getting more experienced at good time management here |

People do it this way as it often avoids confrontation.
We've chatted to people in the past and realised we aren't a good match. Explained why and got rude messages back....its just not worth it.
It's a very harsh way, but its how it works.

No interest equals no messaging. Call it ghosting or whatever you want but that is the Fab rules you signed up to.
No obligation to state thanks and goodbye. No or stopping messaging is the perfect way to do it. Move on |

Did you use the word ‘meet’ in one of your messages mate? Bit of a schoolboy error, but, you’ll learn…… |

If we’re chatting with someone and they say something to put either of us off, it’s far easier to block them than to message them explaining that we are no longer interested because then more often than not, they will keep messaging trying to persuade us |

Ghosting, ignoring any other words used to excuse it, it's just semantics. It's pretty shitty inhuman and people seem accepting of it and more than that some people seem capable of predicting the future of what people would do if they did send a polite message back to say "thanks but changed our mind". It's a funny old game saint. |
