Glory holes and dark room etiquette
Jump to: Newest in thread
Hi,
Just wondering if there is any glory holes etiquette? Is it ok for male to explode etc? Also for female glory holes/pizza ovens- what is the best way to use one for a female if she only wants safe sex with condoms?
As for dark rooms- do you enter one and start asking if anyone is ok to be touched etc or is it the go in and explore by touch? |

I’ve always gone into dark rooms with the intention that’s it’s fair game to touch simple reason that all are in there to have sex if they only want to pick out the right people then the bar or lounge are there as for gloryholes I’ve always exploded using them that’s what there for but as for pizza oven well I’m sure it’s only pure etiquette to wear a condom unless other wise instructed not to the one which I’ve seen in Blackpool was a queue of men waiting for there turn and hubby making sure they all had condoms on |

I think you have to accept that if you go into a dark room, then you're going to get touched by people who haven't asked, because you can't sensibly chose who can and can't touch you.
Last time I went in one, there was a guy who kept on trying to grab my cock, so we left... |

As mentioned by someone else, it's hard to dictate rules in a dark room but there are different ways of approaching. Anyone with any decency would start with gentle stroking and touching of non intimate areas. The build up is half the excitement.
We've been in dark rooms where a guy will walk up and try to put his hand straight in her knickers. Completely ruined the experience and we left. |

The dark room thing we have done but not always easy to ensure whats going inside pussy so we prefer and have enjoyed the female glory hole, and yes we have enjoyed the one in Blackpool,as hubby can ensure I can enjoy all the pleasure with condoms used. Mind you on one occasion at the same time I enjoyed sucking one from the other side of the barrier at the same time and enjoyed a nice load of spunk over my breasts, whilst being fucked by some really good cocks the other end. |

I have only been in a proper dark, dark room once and was asked to join a couple who were also wanted to try it for the first time. This was at Ignite.
With my limited experience of dark rooms, I would say that by entering you are giving consent to be touched by anyone.
The couple i went with, she didnt enjoy it so all 3 of us left pretty quick
Never used a gloryhole or a dutch oven but the women i have been with who have, always say have a partner there to make sure condoms are being used, simply because you cant see.

Next time we go back to Chams, we're going to ask a similar question about the dark room they have with the round bed in the middle.
From watching, it looked like anyone on the middle bed could interact with one another. People sat round the outside interacted with partners.
So we copied that when we joined the middle bed.
But afterwards we thought 'what if the people we watched at the beginning all knew each other and we just committed a faux pas?'
So will find out for sure when we go again. |

The dark room at Chams isn't very dark. I'd say that rough rules for the round bed are:
1) single males only get on the bed if invited,
2) for couples the show awareness of other couples on the bed, and preferably ask before joining in. Though a smile may substitute for asking with care. |

"We never saw that round room at chams, but go again in 3 weeks, so will look out for it"
If it’s your first time at Chams, as it’s such a maze of a club it can be easy to not find certain rooms or areas.
The round room is tucked away off the back staircase and is more a dimly lit group/ orgy room, which may not be the best place for those that are not familiar with club etiquette or rules. |

The round room at chams isn't a proper dark room. You can see everything that's happening in there, unlike proper dark rooms that are usually pitch black. |

"Can someone elaborate on the difference between a female glory hole and a pizza oven please. Or is the the same thing?"
Same thing. They are designed for lady to lay down behind a wall, with her lags, pussy and ass sticking out through an opening that resembles a pizza oven. This allows guys to fuck her without her having any idea who it is |

Have used the dark rooms years ago at abfabs but fuck was it aggressive… it wasn’t ‘let’s have fun stranger in the dark larks’ more like ‘ah she’s female… I fuck that now’
The dark rooms at pleasures are much more fun, and respectful.
Think the point is, it’s not the dark rooms concept, but the people inside it!
Always observe who’s going in and out before venturing in maybe! |

1. Groy holes are a bit of a big boys/girls rules environment, both side of the wall. All who enter walk into a space based on some basic assumptions and very little else. So whichever side of the wall you go you have to be ok with that and free just to let yourself go a little. Don't go into a glory whole unless you are totally ok with receiving pleasure from whoever is behind that wall (whatever their gender). It's totally OK to explode (unless to do otherwise has somehow been communicated). They are in control of your cock with the understanding you may cum (which is also normally their objective). Be respectful by ensuring your cock is clean and fresh. Personally I don't like glory holes, I find them very impersonal which I get is sort of the point but it don't float my boat.
2. Female glory holes we tried. What work well was me standing next to the hole ensuring order and everyone who wanted to join in was wearing unused protection. Always watch the put on a clean one out the packet and ensure they put it on correctly. So you need to keep your wits about you and an eye on everyone as you do occasionally get someone trying to do something they shouldn't (for example using the condom they've just fucked another woman with). But on the whole the guys are fine, behaved and you share a few smiles from the shared enjoyment of watching her fucked over and over again. I enjoyed it. But again it's a little impersonal and not so much a winner for us.
3. Dark rooms again, big boys/girls rules. Especially if we are talking proper pitch black dark rooms where you literally can't see anything (we've only ever been in one that dark). Again you have to be totally ok with being touched by anyone. Obviously if you decide you don't want to be touched by the person you've encountered you can just politely move their hand away and say no thank you. It's kind of hot the prospects of hands touching you out of no where. Or the being totally able to discover a stranger by the feel and contors of their body. However if you have family who attend the same club (as sometimes happens) best to stay away from the dark rooms .

"Chams round room, while not completely dark, is our favourite. We have had some great times in that room "
Us too. I think it's fair to say that fun can also be had around the edges of the room, not just on the round bed. We had a memorable session there once that happened on that sort of triangular bed/shelf in the corner opposite the door |

Ooooh that triangular shelf has been the place for fun on a few occasions for us too |

"I'd love to try a glory hole, but I want to know who's on the other side.
I'm straight, so its never going to happen sadly. "
But surely the whole point of a glory hole is that you DON'T know who is on the other side |

To a degree yeah I agree.
But as a heterosexual man.....I'd like to know its not another man on the other side. |

"However, I’m more likely to allow the touching to continue if the guy asks first.
"
But doesn't asking destroy some of the anonymity? You can tell a lot from someone's voice.
(I'm thinking that I must brush up on my Keir Starmer impression...) |

We love the semi dark room at Chams, even though we don’t swap, we have a great time with everyone around us particularly when there is another couple on the sofa next to us. The reopened dark room at Infusions is fun too, it’s cozy and properly dark! |

"Gloryhole etiquette is to knock on the wall just before you cum so it's not an unwanted surprise. Never liked dark rooms."
Really? I've been using them for "many many" yrs including the original ones not in sex club! I've never experienced or heard that. |

"We really enjoy the glory holes, but the only etiquette faux pas that irritate us is when the guys hang around at the door waiting for us to leave so they can introduce themselves. "
We both love playing with cocks through a glory hole. But hate the guys wanting outside for us to go in or after playing the guys waiting outside to say hello.
We have been to clubs overseas where they have separate entrances to either side of the wall. Haven't found any clubs in the UK with a setup like that. |

I think it's more appropriate to indicate that you are there and potentially up for action, than fully diving in - so hold back from full-on gripe. You might have had time for your eyes to adjust and they might not even have got their balance and bearings. If it's a gloryhole, you can flash your wares or a finger, the latter to invite their entry..
It's polite to indicate you're about to cum - as some suckers will enjoy sucking but won't want to swallow.
I've not used dark rooms much but getting ambushed as soon as you enter, by those who have lay in wait, is off-putting. It could suggest desperation or trying to beat others to you.
It could be the 1st time in the room for someone and they won't know the layout, etc - so letting them settle in and be more comfortable, is priority. |

This is so true. A minority of guys just don't understand that the whole point of the glory hole is the anonymity |

We first encountered a ‘pizza oven’ whilst on holiday in Germany a few years ago, didn’t know what is was called then !
Interesting scenario and play, don’t know if it was a continental thing, but most guys seemed to want to fuck bareback, but the mix of ages of guys and cock types gives a great thrill to the experience ! |
