I understand it’s a how long is a piece of string type question, but Is anyone in contact with club owners that might have a view as to likely timescale of reopening?
Are they planning to open if full easing of restrictions goes ahead on 21 June or is it likely to be significantly later due to the nature of the activities?? |

100% the plan, and to be honest rule of six and the fact BoJo said casual sex is now allowed I don’t see them changing it, fingers crossed  |

Thank you both. I have just checked the Attic website and it appears they are planning to open in June. I looked last week and there want an update so I guess they were waiting for this Monday to pass. Fingers crossed x |

A lot of clubs are already preparing for reopening, provided all goes well. Some clubs have already opened or are reopening before 21st of June for social events, well within the current rules and guidelines. |

Huge discussion about this in the 'virus' forum.
The reality is what whilst clubs will start to reopen the more important thing is are people ready to attend and if so, under what rules?
Probably, like many people we are being cautious so not looking for that first day back in.
At the same time we do our best to support the clubs that we used to get to regularly, even if its an online donation to something we are not going to attend.
If we want a scene in the future then don't assume covid is over!
