Consent doesn’t have to be some big song and dance, or a bloody formal conversation beforehand, or something to virtue signal about.

I get sometimes there are miscommunications or false assumptions. Things often flow naturally with a level of implied or assumed consent. Rarely do people enter into sex after going though a 10 page booklet of each others do's and don'ts.

If I may play devil's advocate here this may not be an act of blind ignorance? Sex, especially in a promiscuous context caries risk and we choose the level of risk that is acceptable to us with the other/s involved. For example this isn't a risk I would take however like the vast majority on here I will accept an unprotected blow job. That is an example of the level of a genuine risk I'm willing to take in this lifestyle style based on risk v reward. Granted what is being said is true although the risks of a couple of strokes is a fair bit less than a hard thrusting until completion especially with regards pregnancy.
So my point is this may be a shared calculated risk vs enjoyment rather than blind ignorance. As is many things in this lifestyle. Personally I believe a risk too far but who am I to dictate the level of risk to two consenting adults? |
