Enough to create an "ambience"
Too few and it feels flat,too many and it's difficult to connect.
I'd say probably around 15.
So people can go play, whilst people can chat in kitchen or lounge so basically there's always something to do chat n chill or play. |

Quite a few years back, when we were on another site, we used to host parties at our house. We usually had around 14 people at them, a mix of couples, single ladies and single guys. We pretty much always got positive feedback regarding the number, on one occasion we had twenty including us two but the concensus was that was too many (the house was an average sized three bed and we also had a hot tub in the garden) so we pretty much stuck to 14 or less after that. |
