Going to a club as a solo female

Has any ladies had any experience going to the club alone? Part of me wonders how safe I would be? Or if I'm just going to be on my own and looking like a right melt.

I've only ever been to clubs with my partner's/ friends.

You can choose an event thats less wild for your first solo visit if that helps.

Some places have couples and single ladies only, if that tickles your fancy.
