Am I the arsehole for being a little bit tired of being asked this.
Like what's wrong with wanting to be single?
It's almost like it's a bad thing to be single at my age and experiment sexually.
Anyway, I'm single because I have commitment issues.
If I was a bloke I'd get a pat on the back...
Do guys get this too?
What do you get asked often on here that just rubs you up the wrong way?

Yes OP, forever asked why I'm single. My well intentioned friends are forever trying to “fix” me up or persuade me to join a dating site. I get really peed off tbh. |

Not on here i don't but by people who know me i have and do yes. I'm single and happy that way until i meet someone worth changing that for.... pretty simple really. Me being single bothers other people more than it does me it seems. |

I don't really get asked much, but I'm terrible at relationships/commitment/ responsibility of all kinds so I guess people who know me well know not to ask and people who don't know me well just don't know my character. I have a very close female friend who wishes I was different but alas I can't really change who I am |

Sometimes I get a head tilt and a look of pity because I'm single and honestly I don't understand why either. |

well, I see it depends on the people who ask you this, if they're genuinely sincere and just curious, it's fine, but if they have preconceived notions about the way things "should be", then I would probably get fed up about it too, and want them to have a deeper look into it all by themselves
it's totally up to you if you want to be single or not, there's no right or wrong answer to being single
it's only societies conditionings about relationships e.g. preconceived notions, expectations, assumptions, etc
if you want to be single and explore you're sexuality and have fun, that's up to you
both men and women deal with the same problem you're stating OP, it's not one sided |

Single because my wife wasn't keen on me fucking her sister.
Infairnes her sister wasn't that Impressed either.
Normally if a guy asks a woman "why are you single ?"
It's ment as a complement ie. How is such a catch like you still around.
If a woman asks a man, it's probably more ment as in " what is wrong with you"
