So, how many times do you forgive being let down? A good, legit excuse first time, an even better one second time.. Third, mmmmm...
Someone you've chatted to for ages, seems legit till you meet. Then starts to get shitty cause they cancel on you.... Or is that just me? 4 is my limit. |

Depends. I'm normally prepared to give a second chance if they cancel with a bit of notice and the reason seems plausible. If they cancel a second time that's it!!
This also goes for people I've previously met. |

We’re all very busy and last minute things can always crop up with kids etc so I’m very understanding, if it’s someone I hardly know then I guess 2 chances but if it’s someone I’ve chatted to for ages and like, then I’ll give them more chances. I chatted with a lady for what seemed like weeks and every date we arranged she wouldn’t cancel, I think I got to about 5 attempts and gave up in the end |

Iceland, but Aldi is closer.. |
I appreciate real life can get in the way of a meet, whether that be unwell kids or pets, broken down car, getting lost, travel delays... there are many things that get in the way and I'm sure we all have experienced unforseen circumstances that have caused to get somewhere late...
For me a pragmatic approach needs to be taken and the merits of the situation weighed up.
That said, two no shows and I'll be dropping her faster than a still warm turd... |

We have let people down do we understand that it happens. All this one chance malarkey is hilarious as some people must have very stress free idyllic lives where nothing unexpected happens! |

"Normally just the once.
However, this time the guy I'm seeing has cancelled on me twice, and now I can't figure out if I'm an idiot or do I walk away.
I honestly don't know what advice to give.xx" walk away. |

the excuses /reasons are usually made up bolox lol, you can just tell.. |

"Shit happens, if someone has to cancel with what seems a genuine & plausible reason, then yes I'd give them a second chance.
But no more..
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me! " |

If it's a no show, they wouldn't get another chance. As for a cancellation, it does depend on the reason. Things happen. I've given someone two chances, then blocked. If it's a regular meet, I tend to be a little more relaxed about cancellations. |
