I know of a few long term relationships where the man is at least 25 years older than the woman, one over 40 years older. There's only one I have suspicions about the woman's motives but the guy's getting what he wants from the relationship so honours are even. |

We have been together for 8 very happy years and I can assure you that money had nothing to do with it particularly after an expensive divorce!
Is it possible that despite how old someone is that 2 people can still fall in love …. or is that an old fashioned idea? |

Yes OP, some do like older men. I'm not young/younger any more but I've never found men around my age attractive. 40+ generally for me. And salt and pepper hair. Perfect. |

I prefer younger women, we all have preferences (boundaries) don't we?.
Generosity does have a role to play as does a chivalrous nature and spirit of heart.
But there are always the most beautiful exceptions to every 'rule' 
'Treat her mean keep her keen' isn't such a great advert for attracting the opposite sex, why would anyone wish to treat another 'mean' unless on request.

Only ever been with 2 women that were older than me, and they were only a year older.
Biggest age difference was almost 15 years younger, she seemed to love an older guy so in my experience I would say yes..... I’m not complaining either, younger women seem to be getting a lot more adventurous |

I'm with a much older guy,in fact we have been engaged for over 4 years now.

At 48 I don't seem to do too bad for the younger ladies it's certainly not my money they are after as I don't carry any in a club...
I'm also on some of the popular dating sites and seem to do ok on there too .. Age is just a number it's how you feel and act that is important .. On the flip side I'm rather partial to the more mature lady.. Can't beat experience in my opinion..  |

I would say just look at a good selection of the MF profiles on here. I would suspect you'll find very few were the M is younger than the F and even fewer where the M is considerably younger than the F. However I bet you'll find most the M is older that the F and a fair few were the M is 10+ the age of the F. |

Depends how much older, really. I like guys roughly six or seven years older than me up to around fifteen years older than me. Always have. I won’t go much older than that though. I definitely don’t go younger.
My dad’s nearly forty years older than me so, in my head, as long as he’s old enough to be their dad, it’s not weird. |

I've always preferred men who are older than me. However while a few years ago 15 or 20 years older seemed fine,now I feel it's not. Mainly because most men I know in their 50s are not into the same things I am and often they look a lot older than that too.
I think that age difference is more important because I've obviously got older too.
