Is nice and quite, but it's not a nudist beach and you can get arressed if you get caught doing so as the police do random checks.
It's a nice beach you get a few quite surfers along the beach.
No shops as such sometimes an ice cream van, think they is a cafe nearby or used to be. |

Public nudity is not illegal, whatever the police or ERCC say. However, offending public decency is.
So if the beach is empty or populated by sunbathing nudists, that should be OK. If there's textiles and/or kids there, could be problems.
Also, watch out for the meerkats. |

"Is Fraisthorpe the only one north of the Humber?
I’d say it’s the only one you can strip off at xx"
Good info. Thanks!
Out of interest, from Fraisthorpe car park I assume you turn right and walk along the beach? |

"In East Yorks there are plenty of lonely beaches where people do strip off. "North of the Humber" though goes a very long way up the coast!"
LOL That’s a very good point!!
I was thinking Yorkshire I suppose. Where are the other ones you know of? |

Skipsea, Tunstall, Holmpton and Spurn-just for starters! |

That’s more than I thought! These are actual nude beaches that people go to? I’d worry I’d got the wrong place if I was the only one there! |

land of make believe |
I live near this gorgeous beach & although public nudity isnt illegal ,it is an offence if it is deemed to be done in a way intending to cause harm or alarm.
Some locals ,specially go to be offended so be careful.
Part of Cayton (also near me) used to be a naturist beach ,however, sadly it is no longer.

What a load of bollocks. Fraisethorpe has been used by naturists for generations and still is.
Now we tend to gather either side of where the small river, Earls Dyke, enters the sea.
And no. No arrests! |

Fraisethorpe is a lovely beach, used by the naturist community at least since WW2.
Park at Auburn Farm (The Cow Shed Cafe on your search) and then walk twenty minutes South to Earls Dyke, the small river as it enters the sea.
lots of shelter if breezy.
Please be sensible when you get horny. The place to go if you must is on the North bank of the river in the long grass.
The South bank is a busy coastal paths & the new King Chas 3rd Way. So be sensible!
If any naturist gets harassed I would like to know.
