Don't regret our 2 vaccines as it was only way we could carry on enjoying our lives, holidays etc. one of us caught COVID pre vaccine in 2020, we've both had it post vaccine, 2022. We've not had boosters as we didn't feel the need but no regrets.

Don't regret getting it in the slightest. I got to travel a lot for very cheap once airports opened up. Protected family member undergoing lung cancer treatment from catching COVID and most likely dying.

I don’t either, I had three. I wouldn’t have any more though as I’m not convinced it’s really that effective. Either way it seems you can still catch it and it’s not really as bad as we were led to believe.

I don’t think the measures taken in 2020/21/22 will ever be tolerated again

Tis fairly useless exercise yes, but so are a lot of threads here lol. It's not just virus ones, go in the lounge and there's nine out of ten threads that serve very little to no purpose informing anyone or being relevant, because who cares what regrets someone has or what they did. But that's personal to the way one sees it...

Probably one of the best responses we've seen in a long time.

As a family we didn't get any Covid vacinnes, had our reasons, but no-one wanted to listen.

We were vilified, lost friends, pulled into meetings at work.

Absolutely don't regret our decision. It was the right thing to do for us as a family x

Never regretted not getting it.

Event tho I caught covid 5 days after a chemo treatment when in theory my immune system was meant to be non existent.

I do massively regret my family getting it because they had to be allowed to travel to come see me when I had cancer.

My mom took a massive decline in her health and mobility since taking it.

They aren't offering anyone a covid booster unless very old or have certain vulnerabilities. Pregnancy isn't one of them. The newborn is at higher risk from covid until the age of 1, but pregnant women are not routinely offered a covid vaccine these days. The restricted number of people offered the covid vaccine this winter was primarily downs to ££££s.

Life is for living.

I cannot believe that anyone in the lifestyle can be so up their own BS to try and tell other people how to live their life or make decisions that are none of their concern.

I took it because I wanted to go skiing and go on summer holidays to countries that enforced all the stuff we did here and some more. What's the point in making yourself miserable for a stupid principle. Life is too short for regrets and I have absolutely none.

What a ridiculous comment.

Did you interview every one who didn't get the COVID vaccine before they died or have you been able to make contact with them after they died?

Going by your personal experience, they could've still caught COVID, and potentially died, even if they had the COVID vaccines.

Of course you can, not everyone is going to explain themselves thoroughly.

I'm a "brexiteer", voted leave, have my reasons, I'm definitely not 'right', but people assume that I am because I vote leave. I have friends accused me of being a leftie, again I'm not.

It is nonsense but that's the problem when you take it too seriously. Which btw I'm not necessarily saying about you, everyone is guilty of being too serious sometimes

The turbo cancer claim on you tube has been proved to be inaccurate but the covid vaccines are accelerating research into cancer treatments according to the Cancer Research Institute which is great news.

Some people got blood clots from the vaccine and some from catching covid but the risk is much higher from catching covid.

Likewise, I had two AZ, nil side effects. First Pfizer - ended up in A&E due to eyesight affected. Second Pfizer - more side effects. Now I have had COVID, I won't have any more boosters (I prefer immunity naturally induced than artificially).

If another pandemic (different pathogen) comes along, yes I'd (probably) have the initial vaccination after making an informed decision.

No, don't regret it at all. But it was a very tricky situation to be fair. There was a lot of coercing, manipulating and forcing going on and especially if people were in key worker jobs that involved being around lots of people, they were made to feel guilty for not wanting to have it.

You tell me.

What is the correlation between the percentage of the population of the UK who had one COVID-19 vaccine and the demographic of the virus forums on Fab?

Only people over 18 years old can join Fab. How does that affect the 94% who of the UK population ?

What percentage of Fab users venture into the the Virus forum?

Do we count visitors to the Virus forum or just the people who post threads/comments?

"If I could get one now, I would so long as it's Pfizer.

Had AZ and then pfizer, hesitant to have more because pfizer one made me feel like crap.

Same as flu jabs, had loads of those but the last 2 made me feel like shit.

Some will say its small price to pay feeling dull for a few days but nobody wants to willingly feel like that "

The reason why I wouldn't take the Astra Zeneca, was because several colleagues who had it. Had to take time off from work.

While the first Pfizer knocked me about for about 3 days. I could feel it going through my arm. The second, not so bad. Maybe a day.....and probably not a good idea to mix them.

I can find that statistic for the UK population aged 12 years and over.

Wikipedia - "92.9% of UK population 12+ have received one vaccine dose"

ONS - "Over 9 in 10 people aged 12 years and over in the UK had received one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine"

However, I'm struggling to find that statistic for "the population of the UK".

NI Two - "94% of the population of the UK had at least one (COVID-19) vaccine."

Can you quote your source please?

Would you care to elaborate on the technical differences between the two statements or are you just being argumentative for some reason ?

Twist it whatever way you want, the Pareto principle is the 80/20 rule, not the 20/80 rule.

Technically, you got it wrong.

Now, about your source of the statistic for "94% of the population of the UK had at least one (COVID-19) vaccine."

Could you share it please? It would be great to finally put this to bed.

80/20

20/80

Is the same it’s just expressed differently

Like

A = B or B = A

The data is available on the ONS as previously stated.

Quite

So you can't quote the source?

It is ironic that you set out to mock 'antivaxxers' for spreading false or inaccurate information (misinformation), but ended up spreading false or inaccurate information yourself!"

It seems like you're one of the 20% and most of the 80% find the data readily available. Strange that ..

80% of consequences, come from 20% of causes.

That's what I said

No, you said "the 20/80 rule" which is why I questioned it.

Scroll up and check.

20% of the people post 80% of the misinformation

80% of the misinformation is posted by 20% of the people

Would you care to elaborate on the technical differences between the two statements or are you just being argumentative for some reason ?

Twist it whatever way you want, the Pareto principle is the 80/20 rule, not the 20/80 rule.

Technically, you got it wrong.

Now, about your source of the statistic for "94% of the population of the UK had at least one (COVID-19) vaccine."

Could you share it please? It would be great to finally put this to bed.

80/20

20/80

Is the same it’s just expressed differently

Like

A = B or B = A

The data is available on the ONS as previously stated.

Quite

So you can't quote the source?

It is ironic that you set out to mock 'antivaxxers' for spreading false or inaccurate information (misinformation), but ended up spreading false or inaccurate information yourself!

Hey lazy

90.1% of adults received first does of vaccine by October 2021.

NHS England Vax stats pdf

Lazy? I've already quoted two sources which referred to the UK population aged 12 and over.

You've just quoted a source for adults (in England?)

NI Two still can't quote a source for "94% of the population of the UK had at least one (COVID-19) vaccine."

Until that happens it is false or inaccurate information.

You repeated my source the ONS.

NI stated it was rounded up, also the ONS.

I've only seen that statistic on the ONS website for 'the UK population aged 12 years and over', not 'the population of the UK'.

Have you seen "94% of the population of the UK had at least one (COVID-19) vaccine", without adult or over 12 years old, on the ONS website?

93.6%

A featured snippet "

Not the percentage, just 'UK population' e.g. without adult or over 12 years old.

Again you're specifying what YOU want. What you want may not be available. Perhaps NI just didn't fully elaborate.

Did it ever exist in the first place?

If the 94% on the ONS website refers to the UK population 12 years and over who had received one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine, it is impossible then that 94% of population of the UK also received one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.

Perhaps this is why NI hasn't 'fully elaborated'?

No need to reply, it's not compulsory. Facts are there to be found.

We are really thankful we had ours and we’re able to help protect our relatives and patients within our work environments.

Also incredibly proud of the scientists behind it’s development, outstanding work.

No Convid vaccines for me(Scott), caught it once in 2020 was back to normal 2 days later, had an anti body test twice over 12 months apart when work was trying to coerce me into having the fake vaccine, Gemma however was weak minded and had two jabs both coerced by the government(ironically illegal behaviour if done by the regulars but ok when they do it?) Gemma has had covid 5 times and has never been so sick with her other condition with frequent hospital trips for asthma, fail to see why I would regret not being a Guinea pig, side not I have had all my other vaccinations which are proven to stop me catching the diseases they protect against

You consider your partner to be weak minded? Because she made a choice you didn’t agree with? That’s is wild!

Why is anyone still bothered about this Global con trick. The only reason I am replying is to ask that the "Virous" thread is taken down. Fed up of seeing the garbage posted.
