Because I could do a test today, have sex with someone tonight and catch something and my test result would come back in a few days as clean. Tests are done for your own peace of mind not someone else's. Only you know your history after the test was taken. |

Everyone should take responsibility for themselves, rather than relying on some notional group order of things. Many clubs have visiting STI health visits.
Unfortunately, test results are somewhat misleading, unless you have been in the presence of another 24/7, seeing their sexual contact, as many infections have a lag period, between contact and the ability of tests to reveal infection. This may be weeks or months. And not all STIs are tested for, so that only someone who has never had sex can truly say that they have never had an infection. Many try to buy they are ignorant, without valid testing.
Remember too, that many people don't have symptoms, so they may feel healthy but might be infectious.

Its on you, not the site to check these things. If its important to you ask the potential meets but remember it only means at a time before the test.. they didn't have anything |
