For a site that caters to experienced swingers, you sometimes come across some shockingly ignorant people
I've now communicated with various men who are attached and discreet yet do not test for STIs EVER
because they believe they are 100% safe because they do only oral with men (and not anal).
It's not my job to educate them but I pity their spouses |

I find some don't even wear condoms, it's all very strange to me. Sure condoms are not 100% safe nothing is but come safer sex is better than not.
People genuinely worry me sometimes, even if you become fwbs etc, if they're sleeping with others and then those people are sleeping with others. You have no idea really. I do feel for the wives who have no idea and are being put at risk.

Unfortunately women are more biologically at risk due to far greater mucus membrane area.
A look at the figures immediately reveals who has the most to do regarding STI prevention.
Heterosexual men are among the lowest in new sti infections. Only women who have sex only with women account for less. Men who have sex with men account for 17% but heterosexual women account for most of all at 46%. |

I've Just recently did the home test of course you worry about it and expect the worse. But it's mostly treatable. I was particularly worried about HIV. To find out that I was HIV- was a big relief. It's such a responsible thing to do. |

I've only caught stis when I was younger from recieving blow jobs. Had condoms on for any sex. Lots of people don't realise about it though. And if you suggest someone gives you head with a condom on, man or woman, your looked at like you asked them to give a blow job to their pet or something. I've met plenty of women who ensure I use condom to fuck them but no issues at all sucking me. Not a single one wants me to wear one for oral though. Doesn't make sense to me as if I did have something they will pass it on next time the give their partner head. Then it's getting everywhere.

The amount of men who say they are fine with safe who will then try and carry on raw, or push you to go raw is crazy high. A huge percentage will go without a condom if they think they can. I've arranged plenty of meets with guys, who said they had condoms and would bring them, only to turn up without any and then try and get me to go raw just this one time.

The one that gets me is those who make a massive deal out of condoms and ridicule those of us on prep, but then happily get a blow job. Most nasties can get passed on via oral, while prep is more effective than condoms for vaginal and anal (unless you’re talking pregnancy!). Prep and regular testing has the best combination for me |

Prep is effective for hiv only. It doesn't help for Chlamydia or gonnorhea.

I'm solo poly. I have about 10 regular male playmates. Some play with men but don't have relationships with or date men.
We share tests and notify each other of any infections.
We've had 2 oral infections in 2.5 years in the pod. But not all playmates and their wives/partners were infected. We use condoms for penetration.
I don't give unprotected blowjobs to men I don't know outside the pod because, well, notifications are important. We attend the same clubs.
I've given blowjobs with condoms before..Not a problem for me and most of the men didn't refuse. One did and all the other men kicked him out of the lockable room. Lol!
So if you meet me, I like flavoured condoms! Sensory yum! I don't play with women but if a man wanted to use a dental dam on me I don't have a problem with that.
My conscience won't let me be reckless with other people's relationships and families because some of my playmates have children/elderly parents who need them.
I probably care more about other people than myself, but that's the mental health conditions.
I can only say be as safe as you possibly can orally, vaginally, penile and anal. Some STI are passed on by skin to skin contact..I forgot which ones. Herpes can be skin-to-skin. I'm not sure how Monkeypox works but it seems to be a mainly London thing. And go and get tested regularly...orally, vaginally, penile and anally and the blood tests.
Protocol: Risk-Aware, Consent, Safe, Healthy and Sane. Don't let your horniness or need for intimacy override the protocol. |

There's Doxypep out too, which reduces potential from Syphilis Chlamydia and, possibly based on some studies only, Gonorrhea |

Women are far more at risk because of the mucus membrane. Men are far more likely to transmit because of the way they ejaculate.
STI spread prevention should certainly be a high consideration for the people on either side of that risk 💜 |

What I really meant was those people on here without their partners knowing can (generally) get a test sent to a different address than their shared home, so there’s no excuse for them not to get tested… unless they live in some parts of Cumbria? 🤷♂️😆 |

To be fair even people who test regularly might still unwittingly be passing 'things' on, even those who get a bit holier than thou about it!
Mgen and trich are apparently on the increase but none of the standard local NHS testing covers that, nor any STIs that require vaginal, throat or rectal swabbing.
It's a case of some testing being better than none, but the basic urine/blood testing still leaves a lot left to go unnoticed.
I've started work in the porn industry now and nobody will work with you unless you've have at least monthly (sometimes fortnightly) full panel testing. You've either got to go to Dean Street in London (which is free) but you'd still need an Mgen and Trich top-up from elsewhere OR pay up to £250 a time from a private clinic (I use Randox).
Even then there's still an element of trust that someone didn't have a one-night quickie in between tests! |

Some married men are also very ignorant to the risk of hpv virus.. I wonder how they explain that when their wife tests positive at a smear test.
I make it clear on my profile safe sex only and the men who say oh I never use condoms. It's shocking. I let someone know once that he had given me something because I had the sense to get tested. He chose to ignore me and met someone else the day after. |

It's a shame that HPV vaccine is t more widely available. That's the one I think about more now. But again, stay wrapped up, frequent tests... But sometimes it's fun to play bare, but that's an exception in exceptional circumstances, and clear test results prior for all. But again... HPV is always in my mind |

Generally we never used allowed any models to film without 12 weeks of unbroken certs. (3/4 tests in periods ) thst they weren’t party girls doing those events either In USA it was even stringent. Private paid meet girls / models were separate from just actual pure models.
Nowadays the ride of indie creating and a non cohesive industry in uk. (Not that there was ever one in reality in comparison to say buda / the valley or vegas ). I think there is many solo creators that just film with mates in own bubbles and do basic testing every couple of months. Then there is others that are dumping 500 a month on two full testing to PASS standards from USA
Ultimately it all falls down though with what people do in their own life post test and pre shoot |

Openly, having contracted ghonerea quite a while ago at a party we vehemently used protection at, the only exception being oral.
We are astounded, since our journey started we've utilised the vaginal/penis test and both oral and anal tests.
Flabbergasted at the number who are ignorant to the fact it's not reserved to certain activities.. 🤔 |

The second time I went into a private room with a guy in a club, he struggled with staying hard while getting a condom on.

What he would have thought of me had I said, ‘Sure, hop on!’ I don’t know
Thankfully he accepted with grace.
But I felt like that put me at risk a bit as well because, like I didn’t know if he had a temper or anything.
Anyway, on his way out I found out he’s married to a woman that doesn’t approve of him going to swingers clubs too.
Like, he could catch stuff and take it back to her and be like, 🤷♀️ ‘mystery to me’

Mgen and trich are apparently on the increase but none of the standard local NHS testing covers that, nor any STIs that require vaginal, throat or rectal swabbing.
It's a case of some testing being better than none, but the basic urine/blood testing still leaves a lot left to go unnoticed.
I've started work in the porn industry now and nobody will work with you unless you've have at least monthly (sometimes fortnightly) full panel testing. You've either got to go to Dean Street in London (which is free) but you'd still need an Mgen and Trich top-up from elsewhere OR pay up to £250 a time from a private clinic (I use Randox).
Even then there's still an element of trust that someone didn't have a one-night quickie in between tests! "

I'm tested once every 3 months because I want to check and also I'm on Prep..
My preference is female but sex with men is far easier to find as it's almost impossible to find with women even on this site..
I've had lots of sexual partners since I became single 8 years ago both protected and unprotected but I had an opportunity for unprotected sex with a woman, we all know its much more enjoyable but unfortunately I got a dose last year from a woman. |

The level of ignorance demonstrated by so called straight men is quite astonishing. I worked in sexual health for over 25 years and I think the basis of their knowledge and expectations are that because women get pregnant they need to protect themselves. This extends then to all sexual activities. The number of men that ask if I am 'clean' (even that shows me all I need to know in terms of awareness). Yet they seemingly have multiple partners and still assume that they are not responsible for their own sexual health. Interestingly because of gender and sexual orientation women and gay men are the focus sexual health what ever that form takes me a they get checked regularly therefore more likely to be protecting themselves and others. |

Everyone should test regularly
Folks should also go and learn a bit
Knowledge re sexual health is very poor in a lot of cases
Best to remember most stis are passed on by folks that don't know they have an infection
And please if test positive for anything they'll who you have been
If someone tells you they tested positive for an sti. Be grateful they told you. Instead of cursing them

Iv heard from few people that herpes is on the rise on this site and elsewhere and the problem is there is no test for it so you can tesg negative for sti and std but be positive for herpes or genital warts and youd never know until you get Symptoms it's crazy |
