Why is there no cardiff social
Jump to: Newest in thread
I've asked before in the forums re: a cardiff social.
I went to one years ago on a previous profile... but i don't think the same group are still on here or if they are they may have moved / lost interest in arranging
I imagine it's a fair bit of hassle to sort a big social.
If one was happening tho I'd deffo be keen.. |

as the majority of fabbers know, I was arranging one in a club in Cardiff and the amount who were attending dwindled. High hotel prices, last train to early! |

Fair enough.
I can only imagine cardiff city centre or nearby (practical) venues are hard and booked up.
Obviously as you said... hotels etc etc are more because there is always something going on in cardiff.
I wasn't throwing and shade ..
Just saying I'd like go to a Cardiff one.. but obviously easy to say I'd go...
A lot different to organise.. / make it viable |

Maybe instead of a grand big social..
The way to go is start small
Could be as informal as ... let's rock up at x pub on a quieter day.
If numbers warrant get a room hire / venue.
I guess like anything it's critical mass to make it work.
The one benefit of cardiff is there are a lot of big venues we could meet in informally
Even if it's as loose a s a floating fab happy hour(s) in a big venue.
Get along to x between 8pm - 10pm
Make yourself known via fab.
People will find thier people? |

Perhaps, the raffle should be ditched — to save on costs. I've been to a few of your Cardiff socials (and always enjoyed them). Would be awesome if you could organise something in the near future... but, I also appreciate the obstacles that you mentioned above. (: |

"We’re fairly new to the scene. What’s the deal with the raffle? Like it seems to be a thing with socials. Where did that come from? x"
I've only been to 1 social (cardiff) years ago.. before I left fab for a relationship
There was a raffle and I won love eggs...
I suppose a nice treat.. |

Me and hubby are happy to make inquiries to carry on this but possibly more regular then once a month. We have also been looking into possible site to open our own swingers club but there is loads of things to look at depending on site and use of property. If anyone has interest message if you have info to help us |
