Just on the off chance, does anyone watch this?

I’ve not watched it for ages and trying to get back into it to improve my Welsh. Finding it mad with all the different character relationships, and what the hell happened to Ffion? And that fella drugging her tea?

Diolch yn fawr

Maybe post on the Welsh forum. There are a few Welsh speakers in the lounge but not many. Love a bit of Pobl y Cwm. Based on the area I'm from so incredibly biased

Hiya — just wanted to say fair play for getting back into it to improve your Welsh, that’s brilliant. I watched it years ago but don’t really watch much S4C or any TV now now. I’m lucky I get to speak Welsh most days, so I don’t lose it — though I’ve been told more than once that my accent’s a strong one (but I won’t be selling out just yet!).

As for it dying on its arse — yep, just like the two Welsh-themed posts I put up yesterday! 😄

Pob lwc a chwarae teg i chi.

My favourite Welsh programme is Ma'i off ma. Seriously had me in stitches, a bit like Clarkson's farm in Welsh

I watch it.

I’m not a fan of soaps, but it’s good for helpibg with my Welsh.

There’s lots of other programmes I prefer on S4C - Curador, Cynefin, the gardening programme (forgot the name!) etc. A bonus of learning the language has been discovering them .

Wales

I used to watch it years ago when I was living outside of wales, and listened radio cymru online before apps were a thing, to keep my welsh listening comprehension up to speed.

It works I think, as you're listening to natural conversations about real life.

Ga I 2 kilo o moron os gwelwch yn dda, a faint or gloch mae'r trên i Rhydychen?

Only gets you so far.

I didn't realise there was a Welsh speaking forum ?

I haven't watched Pobol Y Cwm for years.

I'd love to watch more Welsh speaking series.

Y Gwyll was awesome so was Un Bore Mercher , and Con Passionaté if anyone remembers that haha!

Rhondda

Didn't even know this show was still on. I (L) was in school with quite a few members of the cast. I think they used to use the school to film as well so loads of my mates and possibly myself are in the background somewhere as extras

West Wales and Cardiff

I’vd never seen the forum, but seen quite a few threads where Welsh speakers have gathered over the years,

I’m not sure it would be a good idea. It would soon be overrun with non-Welsh speakers claiming it was an English-speaking forum before they entered it.
