I’ve only ever been to one. That was Swansea and it was friendly. I’ve spoken to someone involved in Carmarthen too and they seemed really lovely, but I couldn’t make it.
Recognise they are a bit far west for you.
But a young lad, with a body like yours and willing to take the time to consider these things… I think you’ll be fine wherever! |

As someone who's a regular at the Blackwood socials i can't speak highly enough of them....
But I have recently branched out myself into the other socials in the area and I can say honestly, I haven't had a bad night out at any of them.
Taking the first step out and attending your first is going to be nervy, but the people on the scene in Wales are generally chatty and friendly so you won't be left on your own for long.

Okay cool, thanks for all the recommendations so far  .
If i were to say that i was going to a specific one and put out a message would others be keen on saying hi so i see a familiar face before turning up? |

We’ve only been to Newport and Blackwood but both are great, Blackwood especially if you’re new to socials xx
The Cardiff one is supposed to be really good as well xx
Normally if you pop your name down on the thread for the social you’ll get an idea of who’s going to be there to say hi xx 😘 |

I can only vouch for Blackwood xx 😄
It can vary if there’s a theme like Halloween but on the whole people dress up for a night out xx |
