My backside appeared in many episodes
I was a paramedic in London, mostly in the south, and the Bill used St Helier hospital many times in episodes. There are quite a few scenes with me bending over to pick up a stretcher. I ran it into "Reg" once (by accident, honest!) and he let out the campest squeak I think I've ever heard from a man. |

What's wrong with mentioning earlsfield?
I think the Sun Hill police station was on an industrial estate in South Wimbledon/Morden
I lived a couple of houses away from someone who worked on the show. It was always good to walk down the road to the station with her in the morning. |

They may have filmed it in Croydon.. but the opening sequence was east London, (Bow road, about 100 up from the underground station.. bow church DLR about 50 meters in other direction… one side of the road you had texaco garage, on the other side you had the William hill bookies! )
Let’s say I literally lived around the corner! (A whole new build estate!)
Hey.. if it ever came up on geoguesser I’m winning!! |
