Too many favourites to decide on just one. Today it was smoked salmon, goats cheese & cucumber on Rye Sourdough. Tomorrow it'll be something completely different. I'm very fickle when it comes to favouritism |

I am partial to a cheese and tomato one on white bread
Granary bread is for ham salad sammich
I do love an egg and mayo one, on brown bread
The right bread to filling ratio is important and I do like them cut into little triangles if I'm feeling bouji, but normal squares is good, never rectangle ones though, too big |

That's exactly it! Occasionally the bread can help elevate it, but any old bread is an insult to the ingredients. |

I’ve switched to bagels recently as I have a freezer full of them. I don’t have a toaster so I cook them on the Tawa, smother with spreadable Lurpak whilst still hot, and my most recent favourite is cheddar cheese, Parma ham, tomatoes, salt, black pepper, basil leaves lashings of extra-virgin olive oil I’m gonna have one shortly. |

Egg mayo with some turmeric for colour.

Mr favourite sandwich is tuna mayo with salad and salt and vinegar crisps in side the sandwich. Even better if it's proper butter and been in the fridge for a little while
