If someone includes a face pic (that apeak to N) and has what we consider a good profile, then we don't care what the initial message is - subsequent messages are the important ones in our opinion. K. |

Something that shows they've read my profile & maybe tailored to that.
So many say in messages "I've read your profile.... Then it's clear they haven't when they attach dick pics or ask to meet now. |

Anything other than a 'hi' or 'how are you today?'.
But even the best, perfectly constructed, witty and entertaining messages in the history of all messages would be wasted effort if the profile looked like it had been constructed on a word budget of one sentence plus a massive pointless disclaimer, and a dozen or more photos that were indecipherable and that looked like they were taken using a potato.
It's usually not about the message for me/us and more about the bigger picture. 🤷♂️ |

A hi & how am I & maybe a compliment if I deserve it.......
NO jumping in with a graphic sexual scenario, complete turn off for me from a total stranger who I've no idea even what he looks like or personality type. |

I like something long & intriguing.
A message who's contents prove the writer has read & understood my profile and has a shared alignment in interests & passions.
Something personal to me rather than a copy & paste.

There's no one great message.
If someone is initially attracted to you from your profile, they're more likely to respond if the message and profile are not vulgar or lazy.
But you could have the most flawless message there ever could be, and one look at your profile will stop it in its tracks.
Bottom line is attraction. No one wants an offer of sex just for the sake of having sex. |

A message that shows they are interested in getting to know me, and not just a quick fuck. Sometimes it has been a one liner, others it was a full on essay that referenced my profile more than once.
That said, I almost always check the profile first. If there are no public photos (and not just dick pics) and no verifications from within the last year, then I’m unlikely to actually open the message anyway. |

Your first message could be Shakespeare but if your pics and profile are awful and not the type of profile we’d go for, then it wouldn’t matter.
All 3 have to be to a decent standard and they all go hand in hand.
