Breakfast? So I know what to make you when we wake up

Just kidding, I need healthy breakfast inspiration please as it's time to stop funding Greggs' profit increase.

Bonus points if I can prep or make it the night before.

Thanks 🫶🏽

Not so healthy but I'm a fan of crunchy nut cornflakes so normally those but now and then I like Alpen.

Overnight oats are nice done with a muller light yoghurt I sometimes make them when I'm working the next day.

Bacon, sausage and eggs, triple decker with a fried slice in between.

But unfortunately I prefer not having clogged arteries so I’ll have a coffee and maybe if I’m feeling a bit naughty a croissant, otherwise porridge.

Most of the time it's nothing. If it's a lazy long weekend, greek yoghurt with spiced baked plums and some seeds. Or a croissant with berries and really good coffee.

Or a hotel breakfast .

My favourite breakfast recently is brown sourdough toast, topped with avocado smashed with feta, lime and chilli, and topped with an egg and hot sauce.

That sounds lush. As it’s a Sunday, I’ll make shakshuka. Ordinarily overnight oats, or if there’s time, poached eggs and toast

Overnight oats, made with Greek yogurt rather than milk. Every day.

I use the Oat Pantry dessert style oats, and add in some additional fruit in the morning just before eating.

Carbonara is the best breakfast… hear me out it’s basically eggs and bacon so it’s breakfast pasta. Really great on a hangover as it’s easy to eat savoury goodness.

Usually Weetabix, occasional diversion to greek yoghurt, honey and granola.

Porridge or crumpets might make an appearance in winter.

Fresh pain au Chocolat or bacon sarnie as a treat at the weekend from time to time.

I never used to eat breakfast but now it's rare I miss it

Thanks for all the suggestions!

I've got stuff to make overnight oats and a couple I've saved for the weekend are breakfast pasta and a block of bacon between bread.

May your bellies be full and your Sunday be blessed 🫶🏽

It's varies through the week to be honest.

A salmon and cream cheese bagel

Weetabix with banana

Overnight oats with peanut butter and chopped banana

Pancakes on a weekend

Porridge with cinnamon and syrup

I'm a big breakfast person 😋

Camberley occasionally doncaster

Batch cook some egg muffins. You can add pretty much anything to it. Just cook in some silicon moulds to make sure they dont stick. I add chorizo, chilli, mushroom, tomato, spring onion, spinach.

Alternately, make some mini spiced chicken burger patties. Just chicken mince, flour, egg, seasoning, spices. Cook a batch then just heat up for a minute
