What’s something you’ve always wanted to get into, but just couldn’t? No matter how hard you tried, or how many times you tried, it just didn’t click.
It could be a hobby, a tv show, a band/artist… anything, really. |

Video games. I work a 9-5 sat at a desk staring at a screen, I go to the gym, I come home, I shower, I eat. I'd rather watch TV than have to focus on a video game and I don't know how people find the time for it. |

"Skyrim and Fallout. I'm on the 8th attempt with Skyrim and I can already feel the interest drain from me 😅"
Preaching to the choir on these two. Though you’ve tried with Skyrim way more than I have! |

"I've played the piano since middle school and I tried to take up the guitar.
I just couldn't do it, very strange, but I found the hand coordination impossible for me to do."
Same here, although I never really took piano lessons I did a little bit of guitar but I couldn't quite grasp the hand coordination either. Which is a shame as it's 2 instruments I love |

"I Can't for the life of me get a decent grip on french.
A bit like the uk government then, pay all that money and still no control. "
French, the language not french the people.
(More fool UK for trusting the French 🤦).

Exercise - some people get dopamine, serotonin, endorphine highs. I get fed up, bored, grumpy and sweaty.
Crochet, I just can’t master it
Ttrp card games. While I love DnD I can’t for the life of me get into things like magic the gathering. Just expensive card tat that clutter the house and achieve nothing much different from a good DnD session, except without the fun and chaos. |

Going in the gym. I swim, love swimming but I've tried going into the gym a few times and I just don't enjoy it, the people in there stare at the 'newbie' which makes me feel more self conscious, I feel awkward using the equipment and just want to leave. I'm much more confident in the water |

Nobody cares. Genuinely. People perv on each other, that's what it is. I can feel when someone is staring at me then I make eye contact with them and they look away. It's ok to feel awkward around equipment, especially if you're new to it. We all have to start somewhere.
You are on your own journey. Enjoy it. |

Same. I’m probably the only person in the world who has never played one. Unless you count Pac-Man in the arcade in the 80s! |

"Charles Dickens …….. keep trying with his books, but find them frustratingly difficult to get stuck into
Honestly dickens is meant to be listened to or viewed. He’s dry as fuck on paper"
This actually gave me PTSD of trying to get my head around Great Expectations at school 🫣 |

Modern Corrie. Especially the strange drinking habits in Coronation Street. They go to the Rovers almost every day, even to buy just an orange juice. They sit, chat, and take only a sip and leave, and many regularly have tea at Roy's cafe, even though they live just a cobble stone away. They all must have money to burn, or there's something in the water. |

A lot of the responses appear to refer to things which people don't seem to fully want to get into anyway, which is hardly in the spirit of the original question posed by the OP.
Gym, video games, formula one... the list goes on
I can't answer the question as I only do things which interest me and are available for me to do within my means and capability.
I don't yearn for the unachievable. |

Sons of Anarchy - I felt it poorly written and ludicrously unrealistic.
The second series where they were in Ulster doing protection for the IRA or someone made me wonder if any of them knew anything about the place.
No one ever made a sensible decision and it was just a misery fest where bad choice piled on top of bad choice. |

Olives. They always look cute, really like the whole wanky aesthetic of Perelló and I want to be an adult.
Sadly my palate will never develop enough for them to taste like anything other than salty balls of shit. |

"Football.
Being forced to play it at school, watching it, talking about it, even hearing that poxy crowd noise.
"
With you there. I absolutely loathed it at school.kept right away from anywhere on the pitch where the ball might end up!
I guess there was football on the telly as I could hear one or two man mini crowds making sounds of either glee or disappointment audible down the street.
The sound I particularly dislike is the 'Fwoop bore' sound of a heavy ball being bounced constantly.
If a kid kicks a ball in my direction, he can fetch the bloody thing back himself! |

Moles are tiny, I wonder how may they needed to skin to make a pair of trousers....
Cal"
Especially my legs, I have a 38" inside leg. Lots of moles. |

Clubbing.
Never seen the appeal. The drinks are horrible and expensive, it's way too loud to have a conversation with your friends and you have to pay to do it.
I'm so glad my friends have finally grown out of it! |

Only ever did it once and realised that I would be better of out of that particular relationship if going clubbing was going to be a prerequisite.
Next worse pastime is going drinking in a noisy and crowded pub for an evening! |

Video gaming, apart from the original PlayStation, I’ve never owned another console and although I have happy memories of the 80’s onwards and games like Space Invaders, Pac Man and Donkey Kong, I just never stayed on the bandwagon.
It just feels time consuming and unnecessary, plus the games got more complicated and I have a short attention spell |

Gin. - It all tastes like the smell of nail polish remover.
Wine - All tastes the same to me.
Craft Beers - Utter shite to me. The craft in brewing is to make it taste the same. Every time, no matter where you drink it.
Very alcohol centric i know 🤷♂️ |
