Similar to other trends or body modifications, my opinion is if they enhance themself a little to feel more attractive then great. But people just get addicted and go too far, lips that look like they’re about to burst is not attractive to me at all

The issue with the trends of lip fillers and such is people tend to become hooked and like to push and push for more as time goes on.. I’ve seen women with teeny almost invisible upper lips who do this and they look really good… but others, well, it just reminds me of looking at a baboons arse and wishing I had sir David Attenborough to do a voice over.

Some look great some look uncomfortable.
The overdone ones look like it would feel odd to kiss them.
For those who have them or have experience of them, can you feel the filler under the skin? What do the bigger heavily filled ones feel like? Are they stiff/firmer or do they smoosh just like natural lips? |

What a person does with their own body is nobody’s business but their own, but having seen some of the people who perform these procedures, I do worry for the people having it done.
There’s a place near me that does lip fillers and the woman who owns it and three of the women who work there, aren’t exactly the sharpest tool in the box, the owner once ordered 500ltrs of nail polish remover instead of 500ml .
Which is fine but do you have absolute faith that she’s going to get measurements right, is this stuff even regulated? |

I sometimes think about having my lips done as they are thin but worry about it causing wrinkles unless kept up and what if I don't like them 
I think for some people they can look lovely just not if they have gone overboard so they don't look realistic. |

I'd like to applaud the great effort that many women go to to look the best they can. I wish they wouldn't but that's besides the point - they do. Their lips, hair , skin, nails and clothes are where they put their effort and pride in themselves and present their best self ' in their opinion' to the outside world. AND their opinion is all that counts.

The only times I notice them is if it’s gone wrong or if it’s done to give an extreme look, but that’s the same with any cosmetic procedure.
It’s not for me but I can understand why people enjoy them, and if they feel good then who are we to judge. |

The people who have them done, do I'd guess.

They are easy enought to avoid if you're not into them. I got mine filled two years ago as I have skinny, thin lips. Even with 1.5mil I couldn't see any difference. At some point I'll do it again but for me, not the male gaze. Funny mens reactions to this but women are not judging their "viagra" errections. Not worried about a little "enhancement" then. Can you imagine the queues down the high St if there was a clinic offering Penis filler that added girth and length? |

Not so common but buckle fat removal is on the up and I know a few people who were beautiful before they had it done and for me I can't look at them the same.

Op is asking questions, and got some with abit of off slant poetry. I don't have a beard but can't fault a woman for having preference if they say those without look like "insert insult". Difference is the spice of life, it would be boring if we all looked and thought the same. Try not to be so offended. I think they can look great. I guess if you've had a bad job they'll look less good, same as anything (like a badly executed tattoo), but never know why people have such strong opinions about what others do to their bodies. You can have a preference without being insulting to others. |
