What aftershave / perfume do you wear?

Have to admit I liked Blue Stratos in my youth because the blue bottle and surfer adverts just seemed a bit more classy than the great smell of sweaty Henry Cooper and Brut 33. Wouldn't touch it with a bargepole now though if it even still exists. |

My most recent one is 'Fucking Fabulous' by Tom Ford. It's quite sweet smelling. My wife bought it because in her words "that's what you are".
Which in itself is...erm... fvckin' fabulous.

I know someone who used to work for Perfume Shop. They're very knowledgeable (if you get the right person) it might be worth asking one of the staff if you have a local one. Also ask for samples, they have them they just don't like dishing them out Are there any perfume counters in department stores near you, they're often the best way to find a scent that really suits you |

I do that but get distracted by all the pretty bottles and come out with 2 makeup brushes and sone weird highlighter or Korean skin goo but no perfume. Hence was hoping I might narrow it fun a bit.. |

I have a few different aftershaves, however the issue for me is a lack of a sense of smell, so have no idea if they are nice or not..
Appreciating that when I could smell, a work colleague wore an expensive aftershave which really didn't suit his personal aroma which I thought made him smell of fish and chips, its not as if he smelled naturally, quite on the contrary, the aroma just didn't suit him..
So I now have to rely upon other to advise when they think feel I "smell good", I will then use that as a guide for an aftershave that suits me..
My current go to is Dyptique, which by all accounts smells wonderful but the price tag for it is eyewateringly high.. |

Oil based attar - Pachauli, Oudh, Bakhoor, sandalwood with lime and rose, amber musk
I don’t use aftershave due to allergic reasons.
