I went to reply to you about the mixed grill last night but the thread got full. We go to a lovely local pub where everything is cooked from scratch and locally sourced ingredients.
Rump steak, gammon, sausage, bacon, black pudding, mushrooms, chips, grilled tomato, onion rings and peppercorn sauce - £16. |

I agree tbh. They usually are fatty etc but a nice lamb steak. Glad you enjoyed the meal though and as I said seems good value too |

Finally starting to see the light again with the help of those around me. Still no news on the job front but did get an email from the recruiter today apologising for the delay so at least it isnt a no yet. |

Good morning, MB! I’ve dropped my car off at the garage for the day (needs a new radiator 🙄), walked down the canal before I did that, so I plan on chilling out and enjoying the sunshine until it’s time to go and collect the car. Might build some Lego in the garden, if it’s not too hot!

It was J’s hobby really - when we got together, he bought me some flowers, and it started from there. Have most of the botanicals (bar the ever-elusive bird of paradise 😭), a lot of the art work (although my inner child did bastardise the Mona Lisa - she’s currently flicking the bird and blowing a bubble 😂), few random sets I just like (Home Alone house, just treated myself to the retro radio - not built yet, but I wanted to get it before it retired), just about to start on the tropical aquarium. Want to go all-out on that one - lighting kit, Perspex case, the lot!

Kinda, yeah 😅 my intention is to always have a set on the go, when I’m back at work - work/life balance and all that 👀
She looks great! Need to put her on the wall with the rest of the art sets, to show her off 😂
Yeah will do - it’ll be a while. I’d like to get it finished before I go back to work, but we’ll see. It’s about 4000+ pieces, so could do it, but would need to be doing it all the time and I still have friends to catch up with and other commitments 😂
