I just read something on another platform written by a woman saying that her fiance goes straight to his friends house after work and doesn't come back until around midnight, every single night. She wonders if she's over reacting by asking him what's going on. Apparently fiances friend and his mother have told her she's controlling and selfish.

Apart from the fact that the likelihood is that none of this is true, are people really that indecisive and unable to see the writing on the wall in giant, neon block capitals?

Sadly this wouldn't surprise me, some people are incredibly naive and easily taken for granted.

In trouble, apparently…

As with most things like this written on social media, context is everything and you often don’t see the context of posts like this.

Who’s the real party who’s committing the abuse here? The fiancé, the fiancée, or the friend and his mother?

It could also, as you suspect, nothing more than an attention-seeking post in search of confirmation bias.

I think fiance is gay or bisexual and has decided he prefers his friend.

OR

She's a massive nag and a bit of a bridezilla and he's too scared to break things off, or too comfortable with the current situation.

OR, the most likely scenario

She's imagined the whole thing and posted on social media for some weird attention thing

What's the reasoning behind that though. I know people are odd (except me I'm normal 😝)but why would you want people to feel sorry for you

More for attention I would guess. No publicity is bad publicity as they say.
