Fake account

I rarely get messages from people I do not know so if I get ones especially from 'sexy young ladies' or couples I am instantly suspicious !
sometimes I just block, sometimes I wait for the request for money / gifts, then I report and block.
my theory of fab, like much of life is that if something looks too good to be true, then it probably is ! |

You're kidding me? I've never had requests for money - the only one I reported though, I saw the same pics on the inter web! Like from 6 years ago on various porn websites... (reverse image search - thank you google)

When the guy messaging me had a very perfect picture on his profile I did a search and sure enough up came the actual model who happen to have the exact same outfit, same pose and same creases and birthmarks as the profile messaging me.
I played along to see if he would realise I knew by suggesting a game of guess the fake picture challenge.
He swore to me that it was him.
He swore again it was him
When I told him exactly whos picture it was he then fessed up and got himself a block. |

A block well deserved.... I don't know where people get off...really. What is the point. It's not as if you are going to arrange a meet, and when he turns up and he looks average (at best) you say no problem...
I'm sure there are easier and less time consuming ways to get a kick.

I had my suspicions about a single woman on here. However she would not provide a contact phone number. I am ok with that but my caution levels are set higher so was not surprised when she left the site on the morning of the arranged social meet and did not set off just to have my time wasted. |

Seriously you must have lost the plot giving out mobile numbers unless it's a burner / phone just for fab.
I made that mistake once and he called me between 2am and 5am practically every night for months and sending me texts and I have to keep my phone on its not like I can block every number he uses.
Just isn't worth the hassle, also il add how many of you link your phone numbers to other accounts like Facebook?
There's a lot you can do with a person's phone number.
Especially idiots who use it for WhatsApp giving out their contact for it not thinking it's your phone number!?!
Advice for WhatsApp users get a 2nd SIM to register for it, once you've registered and activated via free text you're done. No need to give out your actual phone number.
My alarm bells goes off when men insist on me giving them my phone number. Not a chance in hell they get it.

As I said I am ok with not being given a phone number but I always give mine. it's not an issue and totally understand anyone's reticence for the reasons you give. |

When you ask for a picture and they send you a picture of someone from across the room and not looking at the camera. Then they start talking about a wonderful ‘meet’ they had with 2 other guys and tell you their profile name.  |

they sent loads of pics without being asked so sent pics to tineye lol kept talking for a while for fun then they said something about putting credit on phone so they could send more pics I hadn't asked for, so I sent the tineye report lol |

Used to make my piss boil tbh, but not as it happens so often it’s just a case block and move on, I’ve never reported because I’m not sure admin can do a lot, if there is nothing concrete to say it’s ‘fella pretending to be a lady’ I’m not sure they will do a lot. Be interested to hear from admin / mods to hear what does happen....

Bit silly, I don't give my phone number to ANYONE except those I meet and they get my # the day of the meet. Not a fake, just a careful woman. Many women on Fab are like that, they're not fake
Big fakes are blokes with a brand new account and hot "professionally" done pics. Easy to reverse search and catch them out. |

Yep, usually men pretending to be women. They have no clue how women tend to interact so it's easy to spot.
I had one, sent me loads of pics of anal play saying "she" wanted me to do similar things with her... A reverse image search showed the pics were from a porn site. I called "her" out, "she" admitted to being a man and still begged me to meet.

I’m not even sure what makes me look fake but I’m also not sure that I care.
It did become less of a problem when I added a link to my Instagram but I still get the whole “you’re really hot, if you’re real” zzzzzzzzzz

I quite often assume so. I’m quite happy for the distraction though.
The majority of fake accounts, use other fabbers pics. This means that they generally won’t be found on an reverse image search. It does make you question just how many of those on here are legit.

have been contacted by many over the years .but fakes can only message so many times .before a phone call chat .or a meet up .so no bother.coz we have met lots more genuine folks from fab .and are good friends with them .know there is a cost but join a club as what yu see is what you get . |

I get he feeling people think we are fake . The profile is run by me (mr) , but mrs d is not interested in the chatting, video chatting or the build up of a meet ..
She hates the thought of organising fun . She likes to just turn up and have fun .
So people that want to video chat I have to say no because mrs d would literally be repulsed by it ... and they dont just want to see a guy
For this reason we seem to be struggling to find meets ...
Mrs d likes the idea of me taking her out for dinner and drinks then just surprising her with a meet I have planned .

I will in a gentle way call them out on it, give them the opportunity to prove otherwise, if they plead offence at the very thought of having to prove, or they refuse to prove otherwise, then I will block them
Any real members would have no good reason not prove they are real.

I believe you but can also see why others wouldn't. You are 38 but look early twenties in your 'one' pic. Verified but guess what, not showing (we get this also). If you were to create a fake profile from a male perspective, a slim, young blonde with good looks I'm betting would top the list. And if you really wanted to throw em you'd choose a believable name like Katie and not Cum Quick Kelly.
Like we said, you come across genuine but I'm guessing alot of what we've said has been thought regarding your profile by those throwing the fake accusations.

We get men pretending to be couples a lot, easy to spot because as soon as they feel comfy with you, the we turns to I! Plus all pics are of a woman usually, probably pulled out of an old google drive file for their ex lol. Oh well, each to their own.

But the guys with just cock photos and no veri’s (They could be anyone’s cock!) or the couples with just body shots (again, could be anyone’s) and no veris, they don’t get this I assume? Loads of wee triggers that hint at fake.
Brand new accounts displaying clear non sexual attractive face pics - most nicked off some poor random girl on Facebook.
Any female account unverified after 6 months. Let's be honest -guys will meet anything so they're either fake or bullshitter.
New accounts demanding Face or cock pics. There is a regular local update near me from an unverified account looking for cock pics for a size comparison against her hubby. Aye right.
My personal fave is US style plug sockets in background to pics supposidly of a girl in Glasgow. Lol
At end of day. Start suspicious of every new or unverified account. Even if verified, if it doesn't look right then it probably is just a single guy wanking away in his mum and dads house aged 47. |

A lot of my nicest photos that I have of my insta are of me on holiday in Greece (my favourite place, I go there a lot) so the plug sockets aren’t English on those (although my profile pic on here is in my bathroom in Liverpool). So sorry, plug sockets aren’t a give away. |
