Just curious as we continually get contacts from people who do not post photos.
Is there anyone in the history of fab who has actually arranged a meet without any idea of what the other person looked like? |

Yes I've had several blind dates without first seeing what they look like. I do ask then to describe themselves, when they don't send a photo and if they are nothing like they have described, I'll stay for a coffee or whatever, and a chat, (as I like to) then leave. |

Yes, I was messaged by a blank profile from a lady, who explained that she was just very discreet online. She shared body photos on in a message and we spoke on the phone (to confirm she wasn’t a builder called Dave) and she seemed very nice and genuine.
I met her and her husband for a social and she was fortunately very attractive so I’m glad I took a leap of faith (despite having obvious reservations). It helped that they were fairly local - not sure I would have done it if it involved travelling too far. |

Twice. I wouldn’t do it now, but just after my marriage ended yeeeeears ago, I decided to ‘say yes more’. The first turned out to be a hot doctor. Genuinely. We dated for a bit, no regrets. The second was an arranged date with a friend of a friend. Terrible. No real attraction, he was a pushy arrogant nightmare and it turned out he was moving to Dubai anyway  |

Ive had a few blind dates that friends have introduced me too.
A few I havent gotten on with in the time weve been together, always been polite respectful and courteous for the meeting.
A few ive hit it off with and weve parted ways on good terms.
One I have a child too but gained 2 children, As I became a single parent. |

Once, on here. Never again; didn’t veri him.
One person, the only person ever, made me video call him before meeting.I Looked like a minion for some reason, massively unattractive. Anyway, fortunately things picked up once we met and had a long lasting love affair phew |

Did it once and was instantly regretting my decision to do so. Had to get a friend to call me so I could escape. Pictures only tell half the story and in some cases, the ‘story’ turns out to be complete bullshit. Now, I always meet someone in person and then make a judgement |
