A girl posted a profile recently.
It was just about exactly what im looking for & I fitted her ideal perfectly except.....
Im 6 months over her age limit!
Now, I get why people use them.
But once you get over a certain age, it just becomes a number doesn't it?
If im out now, I couldn't tell you the difference between someone who is 43 & 53.
Obviously in some cases you can but you know.
Some of us are look & act younger than what it says on our birth certificates ...

I often get men trying to skirt my age limits, and they often say an age is just a number but as others have said. It has to be drawn somewhere.
I have zero interest in younger men, younger than me is a limit I won't cross. I like older men, and perhaps it's my parents fault for having me young but if they're old enough to be my parents I'm also out.

Amazing how many age limits are always 51 and I’m 52!! So when I get to 53 on Star Wars day (hint!) I bet the age limits i find will be 52!!
Don’t quite understand having a specific number set? Each to their own I guess!

Its their preference and thats it really.
However, its where clubs can be beneficial, as if you were attracted to someone, would you get the preference tick list out.
Saying that....I fucking hate clubs lol. |

You've got a specific number set. You don't want to meet anyone over 70.

I have zero interest in young women in their 20s and 30s and because my daughters are all in their early to middle 30s I set my lower age filter to exactly 10 years above that and that's how it will stay. I adjust it upwards every year to maintain that 10 year buffer.
If someone feels aggrieved by that it's not my issue.
I am outside many people's age filters but it hasn't bothered me in the slightest or stopped me from meeting people and I've never once had a conversation about my age in all the years I've been here.
The age is just a number adage in regards to fab is usually thrown up by people who don't seem to understand why filters are set in the first place and it's a lazy comment. |

I recently changed my older limit as I've got older,but they are there as I haven't ever really been that attracted to someone who is a lot older than myself and wouldn't want anyone around my kids ages,so no point in conversing with them.
